Nice friendly spot right beside TUS Athlone. Sometimes quite busy during the teaching term so get in before the lunchtime rush if you can.

Love this place. Friendly and reliable service and very tasty food. This is a regular stop of mine when Im in Athlone. Ample parking both on site and on the street so easy to get to. Good value menu with plenty of choice. Highly recommended

My favourite place to eat for brecky and lunch.lovely staff exceptional food and coffee.The owner was very kind enough to contact me when I had left my bag behind and keep it for me until i could collect.I cant thank you enough.All over an amazing place and will continue to share my support for you.

04/07/2025: Came here looking for breakfast on a trip through Athlone. We managed to make it in the nick of time before they ended breakfast service and we weren’t sure if they would let us order. Jaime was SO kind and took our order, answering questions and giving us recommendations. Our food came out very quickly and coffee was included with our breakfasts. Wish we would’ve taken a photo of our food, but we ate too fast!! Jaime checked on us throughout the meal and was so lovely. 5/5 for friendly service and yummy food. I would highly recommend!!

The Silver Oak

17/07/2025: This was by far the nicest Indian food I’ve had. We ate here twice during our short stay in Athlone. Service was very good too.
13/07/2025: Takeaway food is getting more and more expensive and sometimes the quality doesn't justify the price. Not so with Silver Oak - the quality and quantity of their food is fantastic, with the Tandoori Chicken and Saag Peneer being my favorites. Best Indian in Athlone, highly recommended A+++
