Absolutely enjoy this spot! My absolute fave in the city to grab boba (I always get the Thai milk tea with cheese foam and it’s such a great drink!!)🧋love their pancakes too🤤

Their food is top notch, soufflé pancakes are amazing and their bubble tea is awesome, there are so many flavours to pick out from. Their location is also ideal, just facing the Liffey. The only downside to this spot is the service, sadly, staff are oftentimes dismissive and rude. Not to mention it can take up to 40-50 minutes for your order to arrive even if it’s not busy.

This isn’t the place for the best service or the friendliest staff, but the food is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for five-star service, this might not be the right spot for you. However, in my opinion, the most important thing is the food—and they truly deliver on that. I’m a big fan of chicken katsu, and theirs is one of the best I’ve ever had. Even the noodles at other tables looked and smelled incredible. I also tried their Japanese soufflé, which was top-notch. I didn’t try their tapioca drinks, but I definitely will next time. I totally recommend this place and will 100% come back on my next trip to Dublin.

I love going to this place for lunch. Nice chill atmosphere right on the river's edge. I really recommend the jiggly cheesecake, the snow matcha drink, and the takoyaki. I actually got takoyaki in Japan and I genuinely prefer the stuff I can get at Kakilang.

1)Mixed fruit and cheese pancake ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best one according to me. Its not too sweet but cheesy, creamy. sweet and sour fruits adds extra flavour in it.Highly recommended 2) Tiramisu Pancake ⭐⭐⭐ The pancakes were moist and fluffy, but overall, they felt average. I’m not sure why, but I was expecting something different. They come with a tiramisu-style cream, though the portion was quite small. The coffee and cocoa dusting added flavor but also made the pancakes feel a bit dry. At the end I was regretting for paying extra for this special pancake. 3) Taro milk tea ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bestestest, highly recommended. 4)Matcha milk tea ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two things I didnt like and I am not gonna go there again for these. 1) you don't get to eat the souffle pancakes anytime you want. I have been there in one morning but couldn’t get it cause they are only available for certain period of time. 2) they charged 4.80 euro as Tax!! I would go to any other pancake place to avoid that.

Great service, menu and bubble tea. Unfortunately I was unable to try the japanese pancakes because they weren't ready each time we asked for them and kept adding extra 40 minutes to the wait. 😔

The Seafood Cafe by Niall Sabongi

28/02/2025: Located in the heart of Temple Bar, The Seafood Café by Niall Sabongi is a must-stop for lovers of fresh seafood. The open kitchen concept and relaxed atmosphere create the perfect combination to enjoy top quality oysters, prawns and fish. The selection of oysters is spectacular, with options from different regions of Ireland, always very fresh. The fish & chips is another hit, with a crispy batter and juicy fish on the inside. In addition, their menu offers creative options such as the seafood platter, ideal for sharing. The service of the staff is impeccable, always willing to recommend the
27/02/2025: Just had the early bird this evening and it was superb , the mussels were the best I have ever had , big and succulent and some were done in Nduja which really were a great contrast .then I had pan-fried Plaice which really was outstanding, so fresh and plenty of fish ..the butter was really light and tasty . There was no room for dessert but another glass of the guest wine of the week (Austrian).i had a lovely chat with Shane who is a great front of house ,chatty and professional, and lovely to chat with the chef Andrew a highly skilled passionate chef who told me he loves Seafood cooking .so impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to return.
