Lovely staff and great service. The food didn't really live up to all the accolades and awards adorning the outside which promised a lot but the food was ok. Nothing to complain about but not blown away.

We went on the recommendation of my father, who had been there many years ago, and what a surprise! We ordered fish and chips, a salmon starter and a sandwich. All the fish was wonderful. Frankly, it was one of the best meals of the holiday. Also, the staff were very friendly to us and our young son. When we return to Donegal, a visit to Kealy´s is a must.

Food was good? Calamari light and fresh! Fish & Chips were very good and creme brulee was alright and took 20-25 minutes to get!!!

Came as a couple, the restaurant was quiet as it was quite early and the GAA final was on. I went for the sea food Chowder lovely and the main was Hake absolutely beautiful the better half went for Calamari again fab. Staff friendly, knowledgable and polite. I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant.

Superb seafood, all fish and shellfish sourced locally. Excellent service and good value. Had calamari for starter, perfectly cooked and tasted beautiful. Fish tacos and mussels for mains. Both very good but fish in tacos was a bit on small side. Definitely recommend it

The Castle Inn

05/09/2024: This was the first time I have visited the Greencastle Inn and I have to say the surroundings and the food was first class. Nothing was any problem for the chef ! The service staff were very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone visiting
30/06/2024: We ate here twice during our recent stay in Greencastle. Delicious, locally sourced produce, perfectly prepared and served by helpful, friendly staff in a quirky informal setting. Super location beside Northburgh Castle ruins, overlooking Greencastle pier and across Lough Foyle to Magilligan's Point. Would definitely recommend the steak, and the Guinness was great. Will return at the next opportunity to try out the ribs!
