Keegans home bakery is an absolute delight! I was greeted this morning by a very kind woman with a warm smile and that famous Irish witty banter was had throughout my experience. From the moment I stepped in the door to the moment I left the bakery I felt very welcome and at home. The bakery not only served pastries but also a very tasty fresh hot cup of coffee to wash the pasty down. The pastries were all freshly made and tasted delicious! I bought a selection of pastries for my work colleagues but my favourite was the apple and blackcurrant danish which was beautiful flakey when you’d bite into it and had the perfect balance of sweetness from the fruit and icing drizzled on top and the savoury flavour of the puff pastry. Just what I needed on a cold November morning.
