I visited Kehoe's for my first ever pint of Guinness as suggested by my partner and it was absolutely fantastic. Creamy, thick and exactly how I'd imagine a perfect pint would be at a very reasonable price. The barmen were your classic Irishmen. Funny, down to earth and chatty and made us feel very at home. Kehoe's was our first pub we visited when we touched down in Dublin and I'll be coming straight back every time I visit Ireland in the future.

Classic Dublin. We had a small family event there recently and it was wonderful to experience the classic snugs and uneven stairs of a pub that's been serving Dublin for centuries.

Very popular pub for people after work it seems. Gets packed at times. The pints are top notch though. Toilets are kinda poor, they need work for sure, restricted by space but not an excuse for the layout.

We first popped in here for a quick drink whilst shopping. We were greeted by the two most amazing bar tenders, Richie and Sean. They couldn’t have been more friendly. They poured great pints and gave us some great recommendations. Although we visited many great pubs in Dublin, we made an effort to come back and had them same experience again. The staff are a credit to the pub Great great, welcoming pub to visit and will definitely return!

Great few drinks in this very busy pub. Mostly locals and very few tourists. Gear selection of beers on tap and whiskeys. Had a quick cheese and ham toastie which did the job

Underdog

27/03/2025: Best, craft beer pub in Ireland. Constant rotating taps. Very well stocked fridges. Staff are always friendly and helpful, always offering alternatives to the standard beers when people who aren't used to craft beers are in.

Buckley's FX Restaurants and Bars

29/04/2025: We go to this pub for seafood chowder and Oysters. The portions are decent and price is as well decent. They have a good selection of drinks and Guinness is very good.
21/04/2025: Had a great trip home to Dublin and stopped into Ryans on Good Friday for a proper steak. My partner had the chicken dish, which was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I went for the 500g striploin, asking for it to be cut narrow and thick—like a New York strip, which is my preference. They absolutely nailed it. The steak was perfectly cooked and they made the effort to find a cut that matched what I was after, which I really appreciated. Paired it with a lovely Malbec that worked perfectly with the beef. Top tip get the deviled kidneys starter Our server—a Hungarian gentleman whose name I didn’t catch, was excellent: attentive, friendly, and clearly knew his stuff. We got chatting about dessert wines and he brought out a bottle that wasn’t even listed on the menu. A 2016 Château Laville Sauternes, and it was exactly what I was looking for—spot on. The dining room is warm, cosy, and full of old-school charm. Ryans has a real character to it. The bar downstairs is part of the same place and just adds to the experience. It’s a stone’s throw from the Guinness Brewery, and the pints there are some of the freshest and best you’ll find. If you’re in Dublin and in the mood for a great steak in a proper setting, Ryans is absolutely worth a visit.
