Kelehans Bar & Restaurant in Galway

There were four of us there last night. We had different things for main courses, and they were all great. The other three ordered things straight from the menu . . . . For the main course I ordered the starter of Goats Cheese Salad , and two sides, chips and roasted vegetables. It was unbelievably beautiful. Although I have been going to different restaurants around the country for 40 years, this is the most delicious meal I have ever had. . . . . They had no problem providing me with something different, even though it was not on the menu. And the prices were very reasonable.

We recently availed of the private event space for my daughter’s christening. We had 40 adults and 15 children. The space was perfect for us. The kids could move about playing without any worries and there was still plenty of room for everyone to sit and chat. Having a private bar was a big plus. We had a buffet meal (kids and vegetarians catered for also) , which was very tasty and plenty of food for everyone. Desserts weren’t an option but there was no issue with a delivery from another local company arriving earlier in the day. Access was also given for a balloon company to decorate before we arrived. Large screen tv and full sound system for music. We had a kids entertainer join and there was plenty of room for her to set up. Staff were friendly and so accommodating. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be back for our next big celebration. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely lunch here. The food was fantastic and all the servers were friendly and great at their jobs. We had the Mushroom Arancini (YUM) Bacon & Cabbage (exceptional), Braised Beef & Cauliflower (devine) and they make a very good Porn Star Martini!!! We will definitely go back!!

We had our rescheduled Christmas party here in January. A fantastic venue space. Spotlessly clean and a great atmosphere. Lovely outside space also. Darren, the manager could not have been more helpful and was so understanding when we had to cancel due to Storm Daragh. Could not recommend this venue more highly for your private function. Great finger food too.

Went to this lovely pub restaurant twice lately and was very impressed. We had lunch on both occasions and the staff were so polite and friendly. My husband had the hake and chips and was very pleased with it. Food was served piping hot ‘which is not always the way. Their special toasty is delicious and comes with soup or chips. The place itself is so inviting with a fire blazing and nooks and crannies to eat in . Loads of space. I would recommend this place to anybody. Thankyou to Aoife who looked after us so well.

This is fast becoming 'a place' to enjoy a coffee, drink or meal in the company of friends and family. Lovely, well trained staff. Well worth a visit, especially in summertime, when there is a wonderful view out over Loughlin Corrib.

Excellent service with top quality food. We had prawn pil pil and steak sandwiches. All good value and comfortable place.
