I've had lunch here a few times and the food is consistently very good. Highly recommend the braised beef on the lunch menu.

We didn't have a reservation and it was quite busy. Staff were quick to find us a table and food was Delicious. We go there regularly as a family treat and everyone kids and all love the food.

My family (husband + 4 kids) thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant tonight! Live music was great and kids enjoyed the atmosphere more than most other pubs we’ve visited across our Ireland road trip! Food was great too! Atmosphere was perfection!

Good food. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Loads of parking at the back though you have to take some steps up to the bar, for anyone with mobility issues there is also some parking at the front.

We arrived from Galway after a long day of train travel-too late to pick up our rental car. We walked here from our B&B. What a wonderful surprise! Everything was perfect. So cozy! The vegetable soup was perfect! We’ll be back before we leave to continue our travels.

Brilliant food, steak sandwich and loaded wedges were top tier, chicken burger and chicken parm were really good too, the brown bread with the soup was not very tasty but overall the food was brilliant and the service was impeccable!

My wife and I stopped by here while staying at a nearby hotel. We had a pork roast that was one of the best that we ever had. The staff was friendly and I wish we had more time to go back.

11/09/2025: We attended the Tigin both days we were in Galway. The staff were friendly, classic pub vibes, so thought we may as well go back again! Saturday night was super busy with the Soccer and the crowd were good fun. We went back the next day for the womens rugby. Great selection on tap.
20/08/2025: Based, based, based pub. I thought the food and drinks were incredible. I just had to meet and thank the manager personally. The friendly staff who were excellent gladly introduced me. I thanked him and he said wanna hear something funny? He then told me something hilarious. He said caribou closed which is pretty funny. Then he told me they said they were gonna build a hotel here but then they just built a better pub. WOW, dinner and a show!! Beautiful cocktails, lovely staff, city centre location.
