Kelly's Kitchen in Newport

We were passing through Newport earlier today & stopped for food in lovely cafe. Thr chowder was divine, accompanied by some homemade brown bread I also had a "black goat"? Black pudding topped with goats cheese. The pudding is sold in the butchers of the same name next doo. We purchased locally homemade sausages & puddings from the butchers also

Excellent apple cake, Americano and conversations.

The prices of the pastries should be listed… €5 for a mini slice of cheesecake, if I had known, I wouldn't have bought it. Luckily it was good.

The açai bowl is a lovely addition to the menu 👌🏼 our family always loves coming here.

Nice local café, lovely sincere staff, decent food

Fruit crumble was soggy, obviously at least a day old. Chowder was passable but veey little fish. I can't see why they got an award.

Absolutely loved the hot chocolate and the Banoffee pie was to die for..overall a lovely experience ❤️🤝🏻

Amazing Irish breakfast and vegetarian version included excellent sausages and veggie pudding. Staff were friendly and attentive. We were there at opening on a weekday and it was still relatively popular so you might need to wait for a table on a weekday etc. Coffee was very good and less of a dark roast than is common in Ireland.

Beautiful little cafe with freshly made food and deserts. We were serviced immediately by the friendly staff, and thoroughly enjoyed our pit stop on our way back from Achill Island. Recommend the drop in!

Stumbled across this charming cafe when visiting the area. Lovely staff, fantastic food, traybakes and their homemade brown bread was delicious. Great gluten free options also. Highly recommend if in the area
