Beautiful little cafe with freshly made food and deserts. We were serviced immediately by the friendly staff, and thoroughly enjoyed our pit stop on our way back from Achill Island. Recommend the drop in!

Stumbled across this charming cafe when visiting the area. Lovely staff, fantastic food, traybakes and their homemade brown bread was delicious. Great gluten free options also. Highly recommend if in the area

What a gem of a cafe! Beautiful on the outside and inside. We had a veggie wrap that was delicious and a flat white that was nicely prepared.

Lost in Connemara, we stopped at this small, unpretentious restaurant where we enjoyed simple, good, and homemade dishes. The flavors and seasonings were well-defined, the staff friendly, the service quick, and there was easy street parking in front.

02/02/2026: We spent three days in Newport and enjoyed fabulous meals each day at the Grainne Uaile. Such a warm but also very professional atmosphere. The food was outstanding and the welcome from the whole team was amazing. A little gem of a place.
