Do you enjoy delicious Thai food tucked away in a seedy industrial area? Then this is the place for you. Unassuming to say the least. Khow Thai was some of the most delicious Thai food I’ve had in ages. Stunning presentation, great flavours, daringly authentic. Highly recommend.

Khow Thai in Galway is a true HIDDEN GEM💎 ! This place is an absolute treasure, offering exceptional Thai food that is spot on in every way. I can’t recommend it enough! It’s tucked away in an industrial area, which you’d never expect to house such a fantastic restaurant, it’s literally hidden beside a few containers, adding to its charm in a quirky way. Everything I ordered was spectacular, without exaggeration. This is hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in Ireland, and at a very fair price. However, the service is minimal, there’s only one person managing the entire restaurant, takeout orders, and phone calls. They’ll take your initial order, but don’t expect much follow-up service after that. Despite this, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. If you’re in the mood for dessert, I highly recommend the mango sorbet, it’s incredibly refreshing and the perfect way to end the meal.

Refreshingly authentic Thai food. And with some real spiciness. Loved the papaya salad, tom yum soup, duck spring rolls. Will be back soon.

Quaint and cozy Thai Restaurant. My husband and I ordered Tom Yum Soup with prawns and it was delicious. For the main dish he ordered Din Kha Phaow with beef. He finished his plate coz it was so good and when he asked for Thai spicy, he was satisfied with how it came out. I ordered the Green Curry with pork and the Thai fried rice. The curry was medium hot, which is about what I can tolerate lol. The fried rice had some shrimps and pork in it. It was delicious. My husband and I shared the fried rice. If you don’t like fried rice, the main dishes come with a cup of steamed white rice. The directions can be confusing like in ours. Our gps had us turn into a garage type of entrance which is not expected for restaurant places. So we had to park nearby and walk to the restaurant. But now that we know where it is, we will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place. They do dine in and take out.

It's hard to find the place because it's in an industrial area, but once inside the service and food are great. Everything is very rich.

Fabulous Thai food with an excellent choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for what you get. Would recommend.

Fabulous Thai food served by friendly staff. My favourites are crispy chicken and the yellow curry. Eat here at least once a month! Never disappointed.
