Killeens Pub in Shannonbridge

Stopped here for just a tea and coffee. Ended up getting a scone and the most amazing Berry Crumble I've ever had. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are driving through Shannonbridge don't drive pass here. Stop for food drinks and a chat with the polite staff

Fabulous pub! Full of character and great staff!

I’ve stopped here lots of times while passing through. I’ve gotten tea, scones, and recently the goats cheese salad. Each time I’ve come in the staff have been so nice and welcoming, super friendly. Would definitely recommend tea and a raspberry scone if feeling like a snack, or the goats cheese salad if you want something more substantial-was so delicious. Different to other salads I’ve had lately, and really liked it. Will be back, thank you!

Excellent food, fantastic blueberry cheesecake. The waitress was wonderful and even helped me practice my English. Highly recommended.

Went for first time on Thursday. Food looked lovely. My friend had the Guinness and beef stew. A good portion which after the first few bites was impossible to finish due to being served smothered in salt. I had the butterfly chicken fillet burger. Again a generous portion which was very tasty until I too hit a wall of salt. I know its the practice in pubs so that you will drink more, but this was overkill. It ruined what should have been a lovely meal. So will not visit again. On a positive note each one of the staff were absolutely amazing. They are a credit to Killeens. For the staff alone I might reconsider a return visit but the chef would need to lay off the salt.

A typical Irish pub in the heart of Ireland. The Guinness stew is truly delicious, and the service is exceptional; the waitresses are all lovely and very kind. Highly recommended!
