There are places that stay with you. Kirby's is one of those establishments where the atmosphere of authentic Irish life reigns. This is true both for the pub itself and for the people who frequent it. Thank you

Lovely traditional old pub. Michael and his staff are very welcoming. There's a hatch to the take away next door, so you can order a bit of grub from the comfort of your barstool.

29/07/2026: Tremendous venue, right on the ocean with a quaint cafe with terrific food and service. We frequented for breakfast daily on our week long stay.

The Sea Shell

14/06/2026: We eat here every few weeks when we pop to Ballyheigue beach and it is one of the best takeaways iv eaten in over the past few years. Unbelievable chips, fresh and crispy, burgers were yummy and chicken was tasty too. 2 happy kids too, Empty plates all round! đź‘Ś
23/02/2026: Very underwhelming, how an Indian themed takeaway down the road does better chips than a traditional “chipper” I cannot understand.
