We just got a takeaway, but the seating area looked lovely. The staff member that greeted us was very loving and kind. She even provided us with utensils and was very nice to us. The food was delicious and was a good portion. The food was full of flavour. I would definitely come back, and even try dining in :)

Excellent, authentic restaurant in Malahide. Always a lovely experience dining here, Andy and Ann always make us feel welcome. Delicious food, and our go-to option for a takeaway too. Have been coming here for many years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!

Food was okay, but when we arrived a man who works there was being quite rude by asking do you have a reservation without saying hello. Later on when I asked for the bill he told me to wait before I could finish my sentence. He went up to other customers who asked for the bill and was smiling and being courteous to them but was not to me. We actually had to get up and go to the desk to pay as he didn’t actually come back to me to pay. He didn’t ask if we enjoyed the food, tell me the amount I had to pay make any sort of eye contact or say thank you. The other staff were nice but this outlier is making them look bad. (EDIT: The following is the response from the guy I mentioned earlier. Make your decision if you would still go: The restaurant was full , you knew that , what’s wrong for asking DO YOU HAVE A TABLE BOOK ) . I was dealing with 2 different table and both are paying the bill I turn my head over because theyputting their pin into the card machine and your food was still on the table and you keep shouting to me to go over so you think you the only people in the restaurant ? Who know that you want your bill and your food are stil in the table to be fair you are not nice to my staff also so don’t come back)

Harry's

09/10/2025: A restaurant serving Italian cuisine and wines. The food was average – the tagliata, with its toppings, especially the artichoke, was very good, but the meat could have been better and less stringy. The service was quite inconsistent – I was served by two waitresses, one quite good, while the other seemed to be learning. I wasn't asked about the doneness of the meat, and sitting at the back of the room, I felt somewhat overlooked (the other waitress was serving the people sitting at the table in front of me and didn't even pay attention to me).
22/09/2025: Harry's had a strange atmosphere. The owner/manager seemed to be micromanaging the staff and they were almost too attentive to us. Our food was okay. Nice presentation, good authentic food, but lacking in seasoning. For the price, you could find somewhere better. We weren't wowed. There was also a dog inside which seemed to belong to one of the staff. It barked during our meal and jumped at my wife on the way out and began barking as we left. There shouldn't be animals in a food establishment, nor should they be offputting to people. Edit to add, since the restaurant responded to my review: there was no salt and pepper on our table, nor were we offered any. I also make a habit of trying not to add any seasonings at the table, preferring to appreciate the meal as the chef intended it to taste. In this case, it was not incredibly flavourful.

Seomra Tae

25/08/2025: Mondays. We all hate them. The sort of day where the road feels longer, the sky looks greyer, and you wonder if civilisation would collapse if you just went back to bed. I was out doing deliveries, running on fumes and bad temper, when I stumbled into Seomra Tae in Malahide. And thank heavens I did. Inside were three women – absolute angels disguised as café staff – who took one look at me, clearly falling apart at the seams, and decided I needed saving. They handed me a cappuccino. Not just any cappuccino, mind you. This was molten joy in a cup. The first sip was like the clouds parting, a choir singing, and my entire Monday being reset. By the second sip, I was convinced I could drive a thousand miles. By the third, I was fairly certain I was in love. It was smooth, rich, perfectly balanced – the kind of coffee you don’t just drink, you have a relationship with. So here’s the thing: Seomra Tae isn’t just a café. It’s a sanctuary. A place run by saints, disguised as baristas, who have the power to turn the worst day into something bearable with one cup of coffee. If you’re in Malahide and you don’t stop in, you’re making a catastrophic error in judgement.
23/08/2025: We enjoyed a light breakfast and coffee on the front patio this morning. The avacodo toast and Americano were both great. The service was very friendly and fast!
