L. Mulligan Grocer in Dublin

We had a wonderful meal: everything was perfect! From the welcome to the food (really delicious and generous portions), and especially the relaxed atmosphere in the evening, accompanied by traditional music... It was fantastic! It didn't feel crowded at all, even though it was full. We really appreciated the emphasis on Irish cuisine, both in the dishes with locally sourced fish and meat, and in the beers recommended for each course. It was so cool; we wish we had a pub like that near us! We were lucky, but remember to book in advance.

It was a good basic pub for us. People were warm and welcoming. Only pints this time, no eating.

The food is was sublime. Staff were so so friendly and the building is very cosy and interesting. The cream cheese brownie was one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve tasted a lot of cake!

Managed to nap a reservation for Valentines for myself and herself. Was over the moon to say the least. As soon as we landed the staff were lovely and say us in a nice little booth. Music was the first thing we noticed, lovely background noise that wasn't too loud nor too quiet. Our server was a lovely man who just gave off an air of niceness. She got the scotch egg veggie option and I got the vegan wings and oh my god I would not say this lightly I was nearly crying eating the wings they were so good. Got the chicken then followed by some beautiful whiskey. Just an all round fantastic experience. Little bit expensive but money I was happy to part with for such a beautiful meal and experience. Thanks folks :)

You should book in advance and even then allow some time to get a table. Otherwise, it's great—not a tourist pub, but a place for locals. Live music, no Guinness but Beamish; it's all about quality over quantity. And the food is incredibly delicious.

I had an amazing experience here. I have a gluten and dairy allergy, and this was the first time I’ve been able to enjoy a full three course meal at a restaurant. The staff was fantastic and communicated really well with each other, which made me feel completely comfortable and taken care of. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone with food allergies and to those without.
