Food good. Sat on the balcony overlooking the bay - lovely spot. Customer service was ok - room for improvement; one of the staff said we couldn't sit where we wanted as it needed cleaning and they are too busy - there were two younger staff stood next to her, one of whom jumped at it and sorted the table out.

The Pistacini was fab. But their signature one was unfortunately wet. All the toppings were landsliding off the dough when picking up the pieces, likely because of too many watery ingredients. I guess we expected more for £18.

Food as always excellent. Very “ full on” waitress who constantly referred to us all as “ my darling”. I am probably 3 times her age and found her over familiarity very odd. Even the children in our party commented on how the waitress was “ weird”.

Used for first time this evening. Ordered delivery on line. Very easy to do. My special requirements were fully taken into account and my steak/chicken wrap with drinks were delivered within 30 minutes to my Port St Mary property by a friendly delivery driver and the wrap was hot, well cooked and very tasty. A very good first experience with la gusto, will not hesitate to use again.

Unreal handmade pizzas which can be purchased in person in Port Erin or ordered online and delivered as far as Ballasala. Great selection of toppings, sides and drinks too.

We didn't have a reservation, and within 10 minutes they found us a table. The service was fast and very attentive. The quality of the food was excellent and the price was reasonable, plus the luxury of eating by the sea.

A very friendly atmosphere and equally great pizza! Went after the 10k during the Isle of Man Easter Running Festival and was pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend!!!!

Was running the 10k at the IoM running festival and rewarded ourselves with a delicious pizza! Service was fabulous and despite the busy evening got told it would be 30mins for takeaway, much to our delight they were ready in 20!! Lovely staff, yummy pizza and an overall excellent vibe, would recommend to anyone!

18/08/2025: We recently celebrated my twin daughters’ 18th at The Barracks, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible effort of Joanne Aaron and their team. As I wasn’t able to be there, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to arranging balloons, bringing out the cake and candles, and making the girls feel so special and welcomed. A big thank you also to the DJ for the birthday announcements through out the night which added such a lovely touch to the night. Joanne and her team truly went the extra mile, and thanks to them, my daughters had an unforgettable celebration. Thank you so much to everyone at The Barracks, you made it a truly special night that we’ll always remember!
