01/07/2026: A very busy spot but it's worth waiting and squeezing into a seat for the food which is always interesting and rewarding, with excellent coffee. The Tullow version is less busy but just as good.

27/06/2026: Waterlilies has the BEST matcha and lemon meringue I've ever had. I work at a cafe where we serve matcha and I will always praise theirs. There is just something so special about it. Definitely made with absolute love. As someone who doesn't care too much for lemon meringue... This is by far the best sweet treat I've ever had. I get a matcha and a lemon meringue every time I go in.. Absolutely amazing

21/06/2026: Highly recommend Sweet Baking Mama for special occasion cakes. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s birthday, from start to finish nothing but helpful, advice on size of cake to order. My daughter had an idea what she would like & Liliana made it perfectly in her favourite flavour chocolate fudge. On the night the cake went down a treat. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it. Will be back for more cake & treats.

17/06/2026: I just can’t express enough how incredible everything is that comes from Sweet Baking Mama. The incredible food that’s so fresh in the cafe to the incredible custom cakes Liliana makes. And the coffee … oh my god the best place! We have gotten multiple cakes over the years and just yesterday a chocolate and fresh cream “grab and go cake” which was just incredible… couldn’t recommend more ❤️

04/11/2025: A quaint little coffee shop that brings a bit of Brazilian culture to Carlow. The hours are insanely handy for students travelling to school and the owners are amazing! I recommend you try the coxinhas!

06/01/2026: One of the best if not THE best bar in Carlow/Laois. Staff are always pleasant, friendly and efficient. Always a good atmosphere no matter what time or day of the week. Decent price for an always fantastic pint, not one of your overpriced rip off pubs we see so much of now. Very clean and extremely well run establishment.

28/10/2025: Lovely coffee house ! The staff is very kind, there is a really nice atmosphere and you feel welcomed. Really nice to either chill with your friends, read or work. One of my favorite places in Carlow!
