Lady Gregory Hotel in Gort

We had our intimate wedding day recently in the Lady Gregory Hotel. From the first day we met with The Manager Caroline we knew we were in safe hands. Caroline looked after us with such professionalism, experience and supported and guided us with all our decisions. She has a calming personality which is valued by any nervous bride to be. Caroline went above and beyond to ensure our timeline flowed perfectly. Our day was so special there - all our guests commented on the outstanding food and choice of menu. All the staff were very attentive to our needs. The rooms for our ceremony and reception were beautifully decorated. As it was a very hot day the air con in both rooms was very much appreciated by all. We felt we were looked after so well and if you are looking for a stress free location we would recommend The Lady Gregory to anyone for any celebration type especially a wedding. Thank you Caroline and staff.

Great spot to stop. Amazing gym. Beautiful pub. Great value. Really not a bad thing to say about the place. Spacious rooms with high ceilings.

Wedding, vacation, couples, events, just going to the pub: the Lady Gregory is a top tier facility with amazing staff, and gibs of history and tradition in the Gort area.

I used this hotel as a stop, to reach other locations. I was pleasantly surprised about the warmth character of the hotel, and even more the sports centre, swimmimg pool, sauna, and beauty room. The receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly, exhibiting professionalism, so were the bar staff, especially the breakfast organiser making my stay one of the best stays I ever had in a hotel.. I would very happily stay there again.

We stayed here with a tour group and they were very nice! One of our students left there passports there and we didn't know until we were already gone. We found out when we reached Dublin and they ended up finding it. Someone was there visiting family and ended up bringing the passport back with them to Dublin. Thank you very much!!!

Lots of old world charm. Loved the decor. Leisure facilities were very nice. Not a very scenic location but a short walk to town.

We were looking for the perfect place for our wedding, and we didn’t have to look for long. The moment we arrived in the car park for our first meeting, everything just clicked. The environment was spacious yet cozy, the receptionist welcomed us with a smile, and there was a genuine feeling of warmth — something we hadn’t experienced in other venues during our search. On top of that, Caroline, the event manager, was incredibly helpful, open-minded, and professional. From the way she spoke and organised everything, you could clearly see how much she loves what she does — and that passion showed throughout the entire wedding experience. The communication during the planning was smooth and easy, the decorations were beautiful, and the food? Absolutely top-notch. Our room was spotless, and the fruit basket together with a bottle of prosecco really added a lovely touch to the whole experience. To our surprise, the prices were also very reasonable for such a high-quality event. We honestly cannot praise this place enough. In fact, my wife and I were joking the next morning that if we could, we would happily do the whole thing again — maybe every month! Thank you, Caroline, and thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Lady Gregory Hotel. Other hotels should come here to learn how to truly take care of their guests. P.S.
