Lao in Dublin

I had never tried a hotpot before and this was the perfect place to start, they have so many options and it’s perfect for someone who wants to try it all, I had the spicy broth and the combination of sauces made the experience very good! The restaurant was quite busy but they were very accommodating for groups of all sizes. Will definitely be back!

My favorite place with Asian food in Dublin!

My go to place for food. I've been here countless of times over the last few years, the food never changes in quality it's always so tasty. Everything is so flavourful and the prices are not bad for Dublin either. I love the fish tanks and all the plants the place feels really homey. It's my favourite place to eat in Dublin by far. The staff are always nice too :)

If you are a fan of Nas I don't recommend it but if you love spicy food and duck, go in without looking too much and try it, very very good 😋

Hotpot, dishes were all GREAT!! The first day of Dublin trip we had very nice dinner at Lao. First, I love we can choose our own soupbase. And we ordered guobaorou and cold thick noodle. We still don't know the name of the noodle cuz we saw the picture of the noodle from review section and just show the picture to them. And this noodle was the best. I still wanna know this name cuz I missed this dish so much after came back from my Dublin trip. Guobaorou, I expected more chewy texture but it was just crispy fried pork and fried dough was quite thick than I expected but still good. For people who ordered hotpot, they can have free icecream for free and that was also nice to refresh my mouth after spicy hotpot. Also we ordered plum juice, that was also very tasty. I definitely wanna visit again this place if I go back to Dublin!!

Ordered: - Yangchow fried rice - Amazing - Crispy orange duck - Amazing - House special fried noodles - Good - BBQ skewer - Avoid at all cost.. 95% fat 5% meat.. I don't get it. They sell this only 5 eur for 4 sticks so around 1.33 eur each and the quality is bad... why not just make it 2 or 3 but higher quality. See photo. It's quite busy restaurant and it took time for them to address our request of no bell peppers on the fried noodles. Overall experience is good.

My favourite go-to restaurant for Chinese food in Dublin. The lamb skewers are 10/10 and so are their dumplings. Also recommend the house special noodles - it has a charred flavour which brings out delicious complex flavours. Love visiting Lao!

That was a very happy experience we had Xmas gathering there. The private room is nice and comfortable, service very good, Chinese dishes delicious and big amount.

I went with my club to have a big Christmas dinner together, it was so lovely. The staff were so welcoming and kind 🥹🥹 I will definitely be back!
