Our taxi driver recommended this pub to us. It's a bit off the beaten track. It's nice and rustic, and the beer prices are great.

Superb food and drink at a brilliant price and fabulous staff who were genuinely engaging and pleasant.

Yes it’s true. The best Guinness in Dublin and it’s €5 a pint. And the people are lovely - the bar staff and the locals. And it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Guinness Stores. And the toasties are top notch.

Recibimos una cálida bienvenida cuando paramos aquí en nuestro camino a Guinness Storehouse. Es un bar lleno de gente amable, menú básico y buena selección de bebidas. Dave, que tiene una personalidad fantástica, nos tenía en puntos mientras nos servía bebidas, deliciosa sopa de verduras casera y sándwiches tostados. Sin duda recomendaría una parada en este bar local si estás en este barrio. Dave cuidará de ti!

Llamamos de camino al almacén Guinness que está cerca. Tuvimos sándwiches tostados y sopa. Un verdadero bar tradicional lleno de lugareños, algunos de los cuales nos hicieron sonreír con su canto junto con una pista de Slade que se reproduce de fondo. Gran locura de Davy uno de los empleados del bar. Hecho para sentirse muy bienvenido y simplemente me encantó el ambiente y el ambiente. Solo siento que no podíamos quedarnos más tiempo.

Not bad for pint, real spit on the floor joint if you like a pub rough and ready. Nice Guinness

A beautiful non-touristy Irish pub where you can relax. I had a couple of Guinness, beautiful atmosphere for about an hour and a half really very nice without the tourists.

We did not have food so I cannot comment. We had some time to kill before Guinness and this place was right around the corner. Total regular vibe, almost 100% of the people were locals, cheap beer, cold cider and a hooting good time talking to a few of the older guys at the bar about the good times of locking. Dave the bartender was absolutely splendid. If I ever go back to Dublin, I would not set foot in Temple Bar again and bee line directly to here and in the Liberties. So much fun. Side note, bring 5 euro bills cash, and thank me later.
