Le Centre-Ville in Dublin

So - needed a place to sit down for a cuppa coffee. Being right in the centre of the ground floor, Stephens' Green centre, at 1530 on a wet and miserable Saturday, I expected mayhem!! Nothing of the sort. Quiet, with a steady stream of patrons, I ordered a simple, plain, latté. Perfect temperature, perfect size, served with a smile. The coffee was yummy - I forgot to ask which brand they used. They also had a selection of soups, sandwiches and pastries - of which I didn't partake. The folks who were there seemed to be a group of friendly folks who were happy to make conversation!! There were seats available and the kind of folks who were there didn't mind sharing a table. Certainly enjoyed my very brief time there - next time I'll eat something for sure!!

Coffee was just ok, the tables were quite dirty and staff were slow to clean up. Some of the pastries were nice but quite expensive.
