Best Qabuli Pulao in Dublin. I have tried different places in Dublin and D grill’s Qabuli Pulao is the best no doubt. Recent renovations have made the place even better, service is also top notch. Highly recommended

The food was really good. We ordered the charcoal chicken, and it was delicious. Special thanks to Sherin, one of the staff members, for recommending this place and for her excellent service.

Maples Bistro Restaurant

12/06/2026: Excellent, charming place to stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Very close to the center and with incredibly friendly staff. I would definitely stay again. I loved it!
24/05/2026: The Maples House Hotel is a gorgeous old property with a lot of charm and beautiful aesthetics. As an American traveler used to larger U.S. hotel rooms, I do think expectations should be adjusted a bit going in, but there were definitely positives. The biggest upside was the staff allowing us to check in around 5:30 a.m. after an overnight flight, which was honestly fantastic and greatly appreciated. The hotel is also located in a lovely neighborhood just outside the city center, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, making it fairly convenient for getting around Dublin. That said, the room situation was difficult for two travelers. We booked a double room, but the room we received was extremely small. The twin bed was too short for me at 5’11”, and there was barely enough room for both of us and our luggage. We swapped sleeping on the floor and in the bed for the two nights we stayed, as both of us would not fit in the bed at the same time. The bathroom was also very cramped, and we initially only received one towel and had to request another. There’s also no air conditioning, which I understand is common in many European hotels, but it’s something American travelers should be aware of. Because the windows needed to stay open for ventilation, noise became a major issue. You could hear neighboring rooms clearly, even at normal speaking volume, and unfortunately our neighbors were loud throughout the night. Since the hotel also functions as an event space, late-night parties and people gathering outside added even more noise. The shower drainage was another frustration. We had to keep turning the water on and off while showering because the water pooled so quickly. Overall, the building itself is beautiful and the early check-in and location were definite positives, but the room size, noise levels, and bathroom issues made the stay less comfortable than we had hoped.
