This is a very pleasant little coffee shop. Old world style. Interesting menu, unique selection of homemade cakes and pastries, and great coffee, all superbly presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Seating both inside and outside which fills up quickly. A great small business to support.

Mespil Hotel

13/10/2024: I recently visited the Lounge at the Mespil Hotel for a meal, and I was impressed by the service. Álvaro, one of the team members, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. He made sure everything was perfect and provided a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious. Even though I only stopped by for lunch, the quality of the service really stood out. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!
11/09/2024: Cannot thank the Mespil enough - we were getting married in Dublin and had a wedding party coming from the States - they not only upgraded our room, they were so kind to our party as reservations got moved around. I would never stay anywhere else if back in Dublin.

The Pig and Heifer Amiens

21/05/2024: This is the spot you should go for breakfast at any time! After trying out brekkies in Dublin for 4 days we finally found this spot, sadly on our last day. If we'd knew it sooner we would've eaten here every day! (the food is fresh, its quality and its made with love) The owner was there with fresh bread, the chef was making all the nice fresh food and the atmosphere was great. We had a lovely chat and let the guys choose our food. We had the breakfast roll and a Pastrami roll and were blown away! The coffee was excellent and we decided tot order 2 more rolls to take to the airport and that was the best decision ever! The owner is a farmer and wants to start doing tours in the country and to his farm and I want to go there when I return to Dublin!
31/03/2024: Probably the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Great range of toppings, salads, and sauces. Very friendly staff and very popular with the locals
