Leap Inn in Leap

Connolly's of Leap is an amazing family run pub and live music venue. An historical gem which is full of atmosphere. Inside there is a superb intimate music venue with a small balcony/mezzanine either side. In the garden is a beautiful unique stage, crafted in timber by a local artisan, with a good built-in sound system. The proprieters, siblings Sam & Mary, strive to keep this iconic little music venue thriving, They looked after us really well. All staff and crew are friendly and welcoming. We tried a few delicious wood-fired Pizzas, which were very tasty, in a word exceptional. I have travelled the length and breadth of Ireland over the last 40 years, visiting literally hundreds of pubs and live music venues in every county and this is one of the very best. My single regret is that I didn't discover it much earlier. Despite it being over a 4 hour drive from home we will definitely return.

Loved this home style feel of a restaurant/bar! Tasted like good home cooking and felt cozy as well.

Food is very poor for the price ,not value for money, lamb was tasteless, and the mint sauce served with wasn't much better. Out of the four of us eating there, none of us finished our food.

Stopped by on the way through lovely little bar/restaurant food was lovely staff were extremely friendly both the lady bringing out the food and the barman were lovely highly recommend had our dogs with us and sat outside

Stretch Tents Ireland install and maintain this beautiful stage covering each year. Lovely venue and crew great food and atmosphere every time.
