Leap Inn in Leap

An old inn on the Cork road, it is both a pub and restaurant that serves the community and travellers in a very warm and welcoming way. Great atmosphere and service. The Leap Inn is a perennial favorite...And their Friday evening fish and chips special is such a great value. Post pandemic they are once again going strong and the food is better than ever, the specials are truly a great value. Update, summer of 2023. There's a new patio area now that is delightful for dining alfresco. The roast dinners are truly delicious, I had the chicken & ham, my husband had the roast beef, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower served on the side. All done to perfection.

Stopped en route to Skibbereen and overwhelmed by food we got here ! ! A1 👏🏾. I had goats cheese/ beetroot salad and never tasted the likes and my husband had bartered plaice and normally more batter than plaice but NOT so here ! Divine ! Lovely plum Pudding and apple tart after - again to die for ! Great compliments to chef .n

A really nice pub with good food and great Guinness

At a dinner dance where food can sometimes be mediocre - not here. Best stuffed chicken in smoke bacon I've ever eaten and the starter of deep fried brie was excellent also. Staff were very attentive.

Good quality food and service at very reasonable prices.
