What a wonderful place Legan Castle farmhouse is . Caroline was so accommodating. The peace & quiet was so amazing for us city folk . The best best ever ! The hot tub amazing ! Location perfect, just mins from thomastown . Our dog is still in a trance ( farmhouse life) thanks again Caroline

We are just back from a return visit to Legan Castle and the five star hospitality that Caroline offers. This time we booked the entire farmhouse and stayed with my family and baby. Caroline is a world class host. From the luxurious bedroom and bathrooms, high end kitchen appliances and equipment, tasteful decor and “country cottage” feel to the stunning gardens and incredible hot tub - it’s really everything you could ask for in a comfortable relaxing trip with family. Caroline is so accomodating and welcoming and always a quick message away from answering any questions. The flower arrangements from her own garden and fridge stocked with essentials were a fantastic touch. Do not hesitate to book, you won’t regret it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the guest suite, it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully arranged to make us feel right at home. Caroline was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay with the added bonus of Arthur the dog there to give us all the cuddles we needed! We have many highlights from our stay from the most amazing sunrise on our doorstep to relaxing in the hot tub with beautiful views. Highly recommend Legan Castle Farmhouse we hope to return in the future.

I stayed at Legan Castle Farmhouse last weekend for the Mid-Summer Retreat with my sister - and what a weekend it was! This was our fourth stay at Legan Castle and our second retreat, and every time we return, it truly feels like a home away from home. We’ve been visiting for over six years now, and it just keeps getting better. Caroline is a fantastic host, and I give her five stars for how beautifully organised this retreat was. The weekend’s schedule was thoughtfully curated to help you unplug and fully relax, with a mix of breathwork, yoga classes, sound baths, and the option to book a Shiatsu massage - which left us feeling like we were floating out the door on Sunday! The food was another highlight. Everything Caroline prepared was nourishing, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The morning juices were a standout for me, along with the apricot on toast - a new favourite! I always love staying at Legan Castle and I’m already looking forward to booking in with Caroline again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning area, 5 minute drive from Thomastown and 20 minute drive to Kilkenny. Hot tub was amazing 😍 Caroline was so accommodating and so lovely would absolutely come back. Bed was very comfortable and view from balcony was stunning
