Lemongrass in Carlow

Singapore noodles. Excellent vegan / vegetarian dish. Delicious, fresh food.

Where we were seated right at the window was very cold. We were also right beside the kitchen not relaxing listening to the banging and chat from the kitchen. Toilets cold and dirty could do with a whole renovation. Standard of food was poor tasteless dishes. Overall won't be back any time soon.

Had lunch today with family members, lovely seat overlooking the Burrin River which was flowing at a exceptionally fast pase. Really nice atmosphere, relaxed. Staff were friendly and attentive. Looking forward to doing dinner sometime!!

Good food for the price. Lunch menu with starter and main for under €20. Good experience. Beer and wine is a little expensive though.

I highly recommend Lemongrass Restaurant on Kennedy Avenue for a casual or more formal meal. We spent over 2 hours here eating and chatting. The service was prompt but never hurried. The staff left us to dine and chat at our own pace. Mind you it was the middle of the afternoon and not very busy. The Hot and Sour soup was one of the best I ever tasted. For the main meal, I had Chicken Szechuan with Cashew Nuts. Delicious.
