A great place to try fish and chips. The portions are very generous, so feel free to share. The fish could have used a bit more lemon, but luckily there were sauces available on the table.

We went to Leo's because it's the oldest fish and chip shop in town, and we really liked it. You know what you're getting into, and given the area, it's bound to be a bit pricey... but we really enjoyed it, especially because when you go to a touristy place, you worry you might get subpar service, but the staff were excellent, always smiling and very friendly. We thought it was only for takeout, but the small shop they have is very cozy. We really liked it. If you know what you're getting into—battered fish and chips—it's a place to go.

I had dinner there. It was somewhere between a restaurant and fast food, but the prices were comparable to a restaurant. All the tableware was disposable. The fish and chips were piping hot. It's said to be the best fish and chips in Dublin, but to be honest, I'd say it was just average.

portions were generous but so was the price but it was such a let down. i heard so much about this place and it was the first fish n chips i got in dublin. the batter was so thick and tasteless, the chips were neither crispy nor soft. safe to say i will never try again

For "the best fish & chips in Dublin," the food experience was quite disappointing. The potatoes were too wide-cut, raw inside, and excessively oily, inedible (in fact, we left almost all of them). The breading was good, but the fish was really full of oil. We burped up the nasty, heavy fried food for the rest of the day. The prices were really high for the quality. We won't be returning. 🥲

The fish was okay, the chips not so much. The portion is generous, but the price is too high. It's a tourist trap and I fell for it.

Kay's Kitchen

25/11/2025: We were a group of nine for breakfast. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is typical of a restaurant in a mall.
