Leo Burdock in Dublin

The food tasted great, but I didn't really like it being served in cardboard boxes! I ordered fish and chips; the fish was very fresh! The chips were also quite good! The price was a bit high! There were no hot drinks!

I’m writing this while sitting in Leo Burdock, and this is without a doubt the best fish and chips I’ve had in the last two years while traveling across the UK and Ireland. Amazing food, super friendly people, and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s New Year’s Eve, and the positive energy of the staff literally pulled us in. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

We tried the classic fish and chips at Leo Burdock. The fish and chips were acceptable, but the price—almost €20—seemed exorbitant compared to other typical and higher-quality dishes available in the area. For what they offer, the price is far too high. Furthermore, the presentation in a simple cardboard box doesn't justify the price, and the place itself is quite run-down. It's clear that the cost is also influenced by the fact that it's a very touristy area. An okay experience, but I wouldn't return due to the poor value for money.

We had lunch there twice, once in Dublin and once in Howth. The potatoes were excellent, the fish was well-fried, and the portions were generous. Service was quick. The only difference is that in Dublin they serve plenty of sauces, while in Howth they don't, but that doesn't affect the excellent rating. Recommended as the best fish and chips in Dublin.

Can't go wrong with cod & chips!

I'd say it's one of the best places I've eaten during the trip. The place has several photos of celebrities who have eaten there. Very well-known names. The only thing is that they tell you one dish is for two, but that's not the case.

Had better fish & chips nearby. I felt it was overpriced.

Great experience, the restaurant owners are welcoming. The menus are varied and there's plenty of choice. A special mention for the smoked cod. Thank you for the warm welcome.

A decent spot for fast food — the fish and chips were tasty and satisfying, classic and crispy. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a quick, casual meal.
