An iconic venue, established in 1913 and one of Dublin's oldest fish and chip restaurants. Its branch in Temple Bar is intertwined with Dublin's vibrant cultural centre. It has a small and friendly atmosphere; It is famous for its fresh fish, crispy potatoes and homemade sauces. There are pictures of famous names such as Bruce Springsteen and Bono on the walls. I loved my fish and its warm atmosphere.

Okay, we didn’t come with high expectations, but in anyway the hype about the restaurant we can not understand. The food was okay, but we had better ones in other shops. It is a typical small shop and the ambiance for this kind of shop is okay. Everybody was friendly which was very nice. But the thing is, if you pay such a high price I expect a plate instead of a paper box and also a real knife and fork and at least a homemade dip for the fish and the fries. But so it feels like a very expensive fast food restaurant.

It is a good option for the traditional Fish and Chips, and also the Chicken and Chips option, in case you don't like fish, or are allergic. The portions are large, I suggest ordering a portion to share between 2 people. Family restaurant with a good atmosphere to eat and talk. If you like to drink beer, or another alcoholic beverage, you need to go out to the Pub opposite, because they don't sell it inside.

The good type of tourist trap. Had been consistently disappointed with the fish and chips I had in Dublin until I came here. Wasn't expecting to find a proper chippy in Temple Bar, but got a generous portion of fresh and fluffy chips and cod. Nice and welcoming atmosphere with a mix of customers from all over which only adds to the charm. Can see why The Boss is a regular.

A very good range of food and very kind staff

Excellent fresh cod fish, decent chips, basic service, "fast food" type environment (however clean) to be recommended, at least once!

Came in for fish and chips with the kids this evening, food was delicious staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful..would recommend and will def be back.

Abbiamo provato il classico fish and chips. Le porzioni sono veramente molto abbondanti, soprattutto le patatine fritte. Abbiamo ordinato dalla sede vicino Christ Church, che non ha tavolini all’interno. Il cibo era buono
