Leo Burdock - Naas in Naas legal town

Was told this is the best chipper in town. Stopped in friday night for dinner. They say you can eat there, but it seems its more of a takeaway spot. A lot of people came in after i ordered. Seems like my meal took a little long. Then when i got it to eat there, there wasn't any napkins. Fish overall was okay. Chips could have been cooked a little longer.

Picked up 2 cod and chips tonight. Order took only 15 minutes cooked fresh. Service was great pleasant staff , was even offered scraps ( old school). Tasted great would ask for fish to be well done next time. No complaints Will be back

Went to naas for chips. They were nice but nothing special to be honest. Unfortunately I have to rate there cleaning as very poor as the toilets were filthy and look like they haven't had a good clean in ages and I was sticking to the floor in restaurant .

Always wanted to try Leo Burdock for ages. Perfect for fish and chips. Traditional fresh cod and chips is the one. It’s ideal with batter. Tasted amazing. Busy enough with a wait time of 10 minutes. History about the place is up on the wall. Would return again. The only issue is parking there’s 2 yellow lines outside the chipper.

Plesent surroundings and very courteous staff. Meals we had were really good.

Why the Irish insist on putting food in boxes or paper bags is beyond me, use actual CHIPPY paper and wrap the stuff up. Tried and tried again to find a decent "chipper" in Ireland as I'm over here the majority of the time, unfortunate to say, this is something you just can't do. Not to mention the batter over here, its more like pancake mix. Love the Irish, but you can't beat a proper chippy in Liverpool
