This is a take away store. So do not expect there are tables and chairs at the store.
I had ordered the fresh cod & chips. I would say the chips is good. Hot and salty and is very tasty. Even if it is not crispy, is still good. For the Cod fish, I would say it taste fresh. Nice and tasty but I would not say it is the best I ever tried.
Generally it you are near, please do give it a try.

Leo Burdock, established in 1913, stands as Dublin’s oldest fish and chip shop, offering a timeless culinary experience that continues to impress.
Portion Size and Freshness: The servings are notably generous, with the fish portions being particularly substantial. Diners frequently commend the freshness of the fish, which is well-battered and excellently fried, making for an absolutely delicious meal.
Value for Money: Considering the quality and quantity, the prices are reasonable, making it a worthwhile visit for both locals and tourists seeking authentic Irish cuisine.
Service Speed: Despite its popularity and often long queues, especially during peak times, the staff manages to serve customers promptly without compromising on quality.
Overall Satisfaction: Leo Burdock consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience, blending tradition with taste. The combination of generous portions, fresh ingredients, and efficient service ensures patrons leave content and eager to return.
Ambiance: Located near Christ Church Cathedral, the original outlet is primarily a takeaway spot. For an added touch of Dublin charm, time your visit around 7 PM to enjoy your meal accompanied by the melodious chimes from the surrounding cathedrals, enhancing the overall experience.
In summary, Leo Burdock offers a quintessential Dublin fish and chip experience, combining history, flavour, and ambiance in every visit.

Fish & chips very tasty. The garlic sauce was the dream. The service was friendly and in a good mood. Overall, the store makes a very clean impression. Eating out of the bag requires some skill.

We really enjoyed our food i can honestly say it was one of if not the best fish and chips we have had. The added crispy bits is amazing. The beef dripping really brings out the flavour, and the cod was thick and meaty. Very polite and friendly staff and was pleasantly surprised by the price. Definitely a thumbs up from us, well worth a try

We stopped by this restaurant after my husband read that their fish and chips are good. The food is good, it’s not cheap at 15.95 euros a serving.
What was really annoying was that this restaurant believes it’s ok to charge extra for ketchup and not a bit extra, but 3.00 euros more, extra. Hell, I could have gone to a grocery store and bought an entire bottle for that.
This could have been a great experience, but instead it just felt penny pinching.
