Yes, you need to eat here at least once, even if you're not a fish & chips person. Some of the best you'll ever get. No, you will need to take away from this location and find somewhere to eat...I would recommend eating it promptly since, depending on what you put on it, it may cool/go soggy faster than you think. Staff is friendly and they keep the line moving, which is good since this is a small shop. Worth it to stop in a grab a meal for sure!

Did order without fries but he gave me some anyway to try. As someone who generally doesn’t like fries I won’t comment on those but the fish was delicious and crispy. I also added some mushy peas and while they were a bit to runny for my liking they still tasted delicious!

Era Viernes Santo cuando visitamos y pedimos un bacalao regular con clips y el otro bacalao ahumado con patatas fritas. Las salsas se vertieron sobre el pescado y las patatas fritas y luego se sellaron con múltiples capas de papel antes de ponerlo en otra bolsa de papel. Estilo bastante clásico de servir pescado con papas fritas menos el problema clásico de la tinta del periódico entrando en la comida. Y sí, el bacalao de humo vale la pena, ¡saca el sabor del pescado!

Tuvimos nuestra habitual cena de Nochebuena en el coche con Fish & Chips de Leo Burdocks en Werburgh Street después de nuestra tarde en Grafton Street. La masa en el pescado es la mejor aquí y las porciones son generosas como siempre. Famoso con los lugareños y celebridades visitantes.
