Went here because this place is the oldest chipper in Dublin. The fresh cod was good, but the chips were soggy, and everything needed more seasoning. 15eur for 1 piece of fish and a pile of chips is diabolical. Not the best I've had and far from a bargain.

Good fish and chips. In contrast to the portions you get here, a small tip, you can share one with two people ;). The chips are well salted and the fish is tender and crispy. It is definitely recommended for a quick but filling lunch!

๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ Leo Burdock: The authentic fish & chips in Dublin ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช Located at 2 Werburgh St, Christchurch Pl, Dublin, Leo Burdock is an institution in the city. This small place, without great luxuries or tables to sit at, is the perfect place to order something delicious to take away and enjoy it outdoors. With more than 100 years of history, it is famous for serving some of the best fish & chips in Dublin, and the line out the door confirms it ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Here it was impossible not to decide on the classic fish & chips ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ. We were handed a generous piece of cod coated in a crispy golden coating, freshly fried, with a tender and juicy interior. Accompanied by a good portion of thick potatoes, fried just right and with that irresistible homemade flavor. Everything well wrapped in paper, as tradition dictates. To top it off, a touch of malt vinegar and salt, which gives it that unmistakable flavor ๐Ÿคค. As a drink, nothing better than a cold soft drink to accompany and balance the feast. ๐Ÿ“ Location with history: Located next to Christ Church Cathedral โ›ช and very close to Dublin Castle, this place is ideal to regain strength after a long day walking around the city ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™๏ธ. You can take your fish & chips and enjoy it on a nearby bench, while you continue admiring the historic corners of Dublin. If you are looking for the authentic taste of good fish & chips, Leo Burdock is a must stop โœ…๐Ÿ’š. Not to be missed on your visit to Dublin!

Unfortunately far too hyped as the best fish and chip shop in Dublin. We have for 14.95โ‚ฌ p.p. Bought a large portion of fish and chips. The sauce costs โ‚ฌ3 extra. The fries are very thick and almost raw on the inside. I had the smoked fish, which was much thinner than my friends' non-smoked fish. It consisted mostly of fried dough. The staff was nice. Unfortunately there is not a single table there and no bar tables outside either.

Snow in and take it with you. I think you get really good fish here. The fries weren't crispy anywhere, but we had expected that. The guys behind the counter were friendly and cheerful. It was clean and the atmosphere was like a snack bar where you get your food and leave. The price was absolutely right, we would get fish & chips there again at any time.

Great chipper here. I really like their fish. Is it maybe the best in Dublin? Probably not, it itโ€™s damn good and right up there. Ignore cries of touristy. I saw plenty of locals there as well. Go getya some F&C!

Had our usual Christmas Eve dinner in the car with Fish & Chips from Leo Burdocks on Werburgh Street after our afternoon in Grafton Street. The batter on the fish is the best here and portions are generous as always. Famous with locals and visiting celebrities.

We stopped by this restaurant after my husband read that their fish and chips are good. The food is good, itโ€™s not cheap at 15.95 euros a serving. What was really annoying was that this restaurant believes itโ€™s ok to charge extra for ketchup and not a bit extra, but 3.00 euros more, extra. Hell, I could have gone to a grocery store and bought an entire bottle for that. This could have been a great experience, but instead it just felt penny pinching.
