Good times. A bit loud sometimes - but hey, it’s a pub.

Went for post-Christmas drinks with fellow soccer coaches. Beers were downed, footie (on the big screen) was half-watched, absolutely rubbish was talked, and soakage was acquired via a delivery of pizza from nearby Gaillot & Grey. A fantastic night was had.

Popped in for a pint and a Toasted sandwiches with my wife. Staff pleasant toasted sandwiches awful burnt first attempt and under toasted second batch . However cheap bread fillings sparse and only for adding mustard it was like eating plain rice cake. Only €6 per botched sandwich. Please could this review inspire a little love and effort in their efforts 🫣.

A casual pub, halfway between a classic pub and a new-generation pub. It's dog-friendly, which earns it a lot of points. The staff are always kind and smiling. I recommend it.

Table quiz is great fun in a Friday night. Service and drinks are fine. Little slow at times. Tables could do with a wipe down once one group leaves and another arrives. Didn't seem to happen while we were there. We ourselves, plus numerous other groups had to move empty glasses to the bar from the previous group. Under new owners in 2025, a very different vibe to previous owners. Not a bad vibe at all, just a totally different atmosphere. Personally I am not in favour of pet dogs in a pub, plenty of dogs in the pub!

Only had the one nice Guinness decent value will definitely come back next time in the area
