Leo's Tavern in Crolly

This is where the Irish band Clannad got its start, and it is still in the family. We had such a great time here. Enya's and Clannad's silver, gold, and platinum records decorate the walls along with many photographs. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite pubs I visited in Ireland. The food was great, the atmosphere wonderful, and the staff lovely. We were lucky to get in, and so glad we did!

Unbelievable, delicious, piping hot food, some of the best music I have ever heard, and about the best experience I have ever had in Ireland. The owner opened us with open arms, and let us do a performance on the instruments present. The surroundings are breathtaking, and it hit the spot just right after a 2 hour walk. Truly amazing place, its a must-visit.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Leo’s Tavern near Gweedore. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially as we enjoyed a perfect pint of Guinness by the fire. The cozy setting made for a great start to the evening. We followed that up with a delicious sit-down dinner, starting with the cocktail prawns, which were fresh and flavorful. For mains, we had the steak sandwich and fish and chips—both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. To top it all off, the Irish coffee was a wonderful treat on the side. The service was excellent throughout the night—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Leo’s Tavern to anyone visiting the area. Probably the best restaurant around Gweedore!

My best friend and I just did a bucket-list trip to Ireland. He's a big Enya fan, so he was excited to visit sights around Donegal associated with her and her music, including Leo's Tavern, opened by her father, and now owned by one of her brothers. The whole Donegal area is beautiful, and Leo's Tavern was a great, traditional Irish pub with a great atmosphere. They have some great local beers - I had a delicious red ale from Errigal Brewing Company. We also had their Mussels appetizer and Fish & Chips for dinner. Both very good. The walls of the restaurant display a lot of mementos and awards from both Enya's career and her family's group, Clannad. If you're in the Donegal area, I recommend making a stop at Leo's.

Rustic tavern with music and good Irish coffee, it consists of aromatic coffee, Irish whiskey and creamy cream.

Absolute must to visit when you are in the area. Once inside it's difficult to leave the place without a big smile on your face.

Our cruise had a tour that included a stop for Irish Coffee at Leo's. It turned out to be the highlite of the tour. The music and dancing were great and the overall atmosphere was upbeat and lively. The history of the family and its music was very interesting. The Irish Coffee was good and the Guinness was great. Well worth a detour to visit and enjoy.

On an excursion from our cruise ship, we drove through stunning countryside to visit Leo’s Tavern, a pub and music venue run by Enya's family. We thoroughly enjoyed our hour long visit during which we were served excellent Irish coffee and entertained with music and Irish dancing. One of Enya's brothers who greeted us told us the family history which was extremely interesting.
