Great Guinness food was excellent, good pub grub. You had to wait a while but definitely worth the wait. No music when we were there, but friendly welcoming staff.
Everything was very tasty, great, I liked the seafood mix 😋🐠🦐🦑A very pleasant bonus was that, although I didn’t know about the reservation, the manager found me a seat at the bar where I enjoyed spending the evening.
Late Sunday afternoon, called in to this iconic Donegal Gaeltacht pub, restaurant and music venue - home of the Brennan/ Clannad family.
Only went in for tea/coffee but the menu looked so good and the service so warm and friendly that we stayed for our evening meal. So glad we did - it was fantastic.
We had soup for starters after a hike day, followed by burgers and currys... everything was so good! Music and atmosphere was incredible and our waitress was lovely. Definitely recommend
Fabulous night in Leo's Tavern last Thursday (20/08/2026). Treated to outstanding music & singing from FíorUisce, who were really on fire, and spectacular display of sean-nós dancing; Impossible to adequately capture in words.
Leo's Tavern is a must-visit; you'll leave enchanted by the wonderful beautiful kind staff, and with an awakened inner self!
Cannot comment on the food as we went to visit and have a drink. Very friendly greeting and cash or card at the bar.
All the walls and ceilings decorated not surprisingly with Enya and Clannad memorabilia make for a interesting visit.
Well worth the journey and highly recommended.
Steeped in musical history! Really great pub that feels like it always has something going on. We were lucky with a walk-in but would recommend booking; it filled up quickly! Friendly and attentive staff and good food as well (recommend the Malaysian curry!).
