Was early and was in for pint with some Italian friends . So it was quite and for me gave time to look around the walls at some fabulous photos. #clannad
Legendary music pub in an absolutely beautiful part of Donegal. Excellent pints, lovely staff and there’s always a gorgeous atmosphere in the place. Great music too and worth a drop in.
Incredible vegetable soup, fish and chips, burgers. The service and music were first class. The setting and history (enya and clanmad) enhanced an already fantastic dining experience.
Great restaurant, good food, very attentive and friendly service, interesting owner.
All in all, a great evening...reservations are a must during peak season!
We ate in Leo’s on 23/7/26 and had a mixed bag of experiences. We’ve eaten here on numerous occasions over the last 35 years and always had great things to say about the place. I ordered the steak sandwich which was ok. The chips were frozen and not fresh cut so were basic. In previous years we’ve always been given chunky chips which were delicious so we were a tad disappointed. The pepper sauce was anything but creamy- it was clearly a packet sauce not made with milk and was tasteless. My wife got the curry which was delicious, my daughter had the fish and chips which she enjoyed and her partner had the cheese burger which he said was nice. Like me he thought the pepper sauce was tasteless and didn’t touch it. Overall it was fine and we’ll probably be back but with lower expectations next time. P.S. the Guinness was excellent!!
Great food, big portions. If you are going you should book in advance. Be prepared to loose several hours checking out the pictures and awards on the walls.
