Visiting family in Swinford last week, we dropped in here for dinner. Amazing find ! Service from Helen and team, friendly, prompt . Food great , wonderful variety from bacon and cabbage, to Asian specialities. Reasonably priced.Ho Cosy and homely and low key- seating plan makes it easy to start chats with other diners. Also, a confirming Lettuce Eat as a firm local favourite was the influx of young lads for their post training feed of chips etc. Go neirigh on bothar libh. !

Lovely lunch with my mates today. I got a spice bag with Curry sauce and my mate got Szechuan chicken. Fabulous dishes, decent portions and good value for money.

Was really lucky to have stepped into this charming restaurant. The staff were super friendly and attentive. They also recommended a few fun things for us to do on our visit here, which I thought was a nice touch. The food was delicious with plenty of options. Our bellies were full! Would definitely recommend to anyone. We’re already planning our return trip and will of course be coming back here to visit! Thank you!!

07/05/2025: Great spot, food was good service was good. Was busy had a nice atmosphere
13/04/2025: For dinner seated in dark poorly lit closed in area that had steps up to it even though we had a stroller! Window-lit booths at the front went empty. Food was average and pricey. Desserts disappointing. Room was pokey, not well-laid out and noisy from the corridor as was at the top of the stairs. Bathroom needs updating. Enquired about staying on another night (a Monday) and was quoted the same price as the weekend nights - short-sighted, decided against staying as a result. Difficult to get an answer on the reception. Wouldn’t choose to stay again.

02/05/2025: staff friendly courteous and efficient. A vast choice of beers and wines.Old world atmosphere,lovely.
21/04/2025: Fantastic little pub full of interesting old things from the past. We popped in for a drink on Easter Monday, family and small dog and felt very welcome sitting in the window by a real fire. Great service, friendly crowd of locals having a drink and a couple of nice local draught beers available as well as the usual choices. Very clean and tidy, toilets modern and spotless. Highly recommended :)
