We spent 2 nights here for the Ireland rugby match and it is so close to the stadium. The hotel has a great set up for match day and their offering for food and drink stays out the front while residents are only allowed in the hotel. They have toilets situated for anyone stopping for a drink before or after the match. One of the best setups I’ve seen. By that evening the hotel was back to normal and you wouldn’t never know it had all happened. Lovey staff, good food and they are really able to use what they have to their best advantage for residents and other patrons. Well done and btw we loved meeting your beautiful dog and look forward to staying again this weekend xx

The Sandy Mount Hotel review is a mixed bag, but honestly, for a four-star stay in a great area, the trade-offs felt worth it. Let me start with the absolute best part: the service. The staff here are phenomenal. From the check-in desk to the porters and the dining room team, everyone was genuinely warm, super helpful, and always had a smile. That personalized, human-touch service really elevates the experience and is definitely what earned the hotel its four stars in my book. Now for the reality check. The rooms, bless their hearts, are certainly showing their age. You can tell the décor hasn't been updated in a while—it’s clean, don't get me wrong, but definitely has that slightly faded charm of an older building. My other minor gripe was the breakfast. For a hotel of this calibre, the buffet was surprisingly limited. It covered the basics, but there wasn't much in the way of specialty options or variety. It got the job done, but it wasn't the lavish start to the day I was hoping for. However, the location is a huge win. Being just steps away from the main transport link meant getting around was effortless, and the neighborhood itself felt safe and pleasant, with plenty of nearby restaurants and pubs to explore. Ultimately, if you value impeccable service and a fantastic base of operations over cutting-edge décor and a huge breakfast spread, you’ll be happy here.

Sadly I have been forced to delete my previous review. The level of service in the restaurant is very poor. Staff seem to congregate in groups but not actually do very much. I requested my bill 15 minutes ago and I'm still waiting. Very disappointed

Great hotel, spotlessly clean,silent location. I gave been booked in to refurbished room which was small but really nice and comfortable. Location us fully ok, parking without any problems and decent breakfast.

Loved the convenience, the staff is terrific from waitstaff to housekeeping to the front desk. The restaurant and bar is well run and the food from the entire menu is delivered with exceptionally consistent quality. Over 16 days nothing was sent back to the kitchen with the 32 people who traveled with us. What was consistently aggravating was a reservation system that failed regularly to communicate effectively for over 7 months. The inability to change rates over the length of the stay without making a new reservation (we had to make three separate bookings and then spent several hours assuring we would be remaining in the same room for the entirety of our stay), the repeated email/demand requests for payment that did not include a link to make the payment and at least one of our USA teammates had their request sent in Italian. Despite the nearly daily issues with accounting and reservations, we truly enjoyed the hotel. Be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you have a reservation. Make sure to utilize the With Breakfast option.

Our stay at this hotel was beyond our expectations. Special thanks to Alex for going above and beyond to help us with a late-night booking, and to Eider for making our late-night check-in so pleasant. Marcio was also incredibly helpful and attentive during our stay, which made everything even smoother. Every staff member we interacted with was amazing—from housekeeping and cleaning to the breakfast team (especially Jing) and those working on September 9th. I would highly recommend this place to families, as the staff were incredibly kind and attentive with my toddler. A special mention also to Elsa, who was such a pleasure to talk to and made us feel genuinely welcome.

Absolutely love this hotel. We always go here before games in The Aviva and if we are lucky enough to get an availability, we stay as well. Food is outstanding. Staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is electric before and after the games. Best spot in D4

Nice place big carpark . I really enjoyed dinner. And breakfast
