Line Out Bar in Dublin

Stayed in the Sandymount for the gigs in Marley park over the weekend and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the executive room as they did not have the king room we booked available. The room was spacious, the bed comfy and the room was stocked with a Dyson hair dryer ,shaving kits, toothbrushes etc. Breakfast was your standard buffet breakfast and we had sandwiches in the restaurant for lunch which were nice but a little bit pricey. The restaurant has a very cozy outdoor seating area. Great Hotel especially for the price. Would definitely stay again.

Nice clean hotel in a fairly central location to attend concerts etc. Most of the staff were polite and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bar looks good but drinks were not not up to par, also bar refuses to take cash payments.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sandymount. The rooms are clean and modern and the food is delicious (the chicken wings are particularly good) The staff are excellent, some of the best hotel staff I've encountered. While the location isn’t ideal (it’s quite a bit out from the city center) it is only 2 minutes walk to the Aviva, so perfect for matches and concerts.

Bathroom had been refurbished and was clean and attractive. However, the bathroom and the room itself were quite small … next to no space around the sink for toiletries, and one easily could trip over your suitcase due to the tight and limited space in the room. Unlike a newer hotel in the city center, there is no way to regulate the temperature of the room. Breakfast was OK, but unremarkable. For those going to an event at the stadium, the hotel is well located nearby.

Right beside the aviva stadium but a nice walk from city centre a good 35 minute walk..... The view from 371 is not a good one it looks out onto air conditioning..... Staff are brill hotel its self is lovely clean n respectful looking....

What a great hotel! Had a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was good. Easy tram access to city centre. Very friendly.

First of all, the hotel appears nice and tidy. Susanna at the reception is an extremely nice and friendly girl. Check-in was very quick. Parking spaces are available at the hotel for cars. The room is newly furnished with a new bathroom. However, there is a very small sink there. The room is relatively small, but ok for me. WiFi powerful. The TV lacks foreign channels (German, Italy, France, etc.). The room is relatively warm, no air conditioning, no refrigerator. The hotel is like a labyrinth depending on where the room is. Lots of tripping hazards in the form of small stairs in the hallways. The room cards often only open the room door after several attempts. The breakfast is good (...although with powdered scrambled eggs) typically Irish but also Continental. The croissants are better than in France and the filter coffee is hot and tasty. I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience. However, I think the price (2024) with breakfast for a single room at €215 is too high! The price here should be a maximum of around €130 compared to other hotels. And I know what I'm talking about. I have stayed in over 2000 hotels over the last 35 years - professionally and across Europe. In my opinion, the best hotels in Europe in terms of price/performance are still in the German-speaking countries and in Scandinavia. The Sandymount Hotel is highly recommended. Bon Voyage !

Top class service! Everything was exceptional. Finding one family room for 5 isn’t always easy but this place delivered. More than enough space in a very clean family room. The front desk was helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Nothing could have been better with the service we received during our stay! They made our anniversary special and answered questions we had about public transportation. The rooms are neat and feel high end with an espresso maker, robes, slippers and Dyson hair dryer. The downsides included noisy rooms since the hallway and bed are only a wall apart, no fridge in the room (not sure how common this is in Ireland) no way to change the temperature in the room and the water spills over the shower door and gets on the floor quite easily making a mess. There also is not much in terms of restaurants in walking distance. Overall we had a great stay but it was missing a few things to give it 5 stars.
