Somewhat chaotic, but nice room and nice meals

Always my favourite place to stay in Dublin. Staff are so friendly and genuine. Free car parking and EV charging. This is a quaint diamond with quirks.

The hotel is excellent, with spectacular service and great value for money. The only problem is that it is a little off the beaten track for restaurants.

Staying at the Sandymount Hotel Dublin was an experience to remember! We were there for the Leinster vs. Bath rugby match at Aviva Stadium, and the hotel's proximity to the stadium couldn't have been more convenient, just a short 2-minute walk🚶‍♀️🏟 From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The room was immaculate and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after an exciting day of rugby. Dining at the Whitty Restaurant was an absolute delight. The food was delicious, and the ambience was perfect for a relaxing meal. Every dish was expertly prepared, adding a special touch to our stay. Overall, the Sandymount Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you're in town for an event at Aviva Stadium or just exploring Dublin, this hotel is the ideal choice for a pleasant and convenient stay. I've known this hotel for 30 years and will always...always be a regular.

Had my work Christmas party tonight and the staff were absolutely amazing food was delicious music brilliant fantastic night would recommend this hotel to anyone ⭐️

We stayed here for two nights on our trip to Ireland and we didn’t have the best overall experience. We could hear everything going on the rooms next to and above us. The room was really hot and we couldn’t control the heat/air. The hotel was in a good location and had parking which was a big reason as to why we booked it in the first place. Seems like a good spot if you are in the area for a rugby game but was too noisy for us personally. The rooms themselves were good and the staff were nice. It was a little hard to navigate from place to place within the hotel but plenty of signage to help.

Always a good pint of Guinness, staff are friendly and helpful. Meeting room is well soundproofed and comfortable.
