Locks in Dublin

We had an incredible meal this evening. Everything was delicious right down to the bread and butter. The dressing on the oysters was an experience in itself. Id go back for the asparagus alone and I’m not a vegetarian. The pork rack for 2 was cooked to perfection paired with the hickory with herb dressing was a show stopper with carrot and potato sides. We shared the mango pana cotta and date bread pudding for sweets and rolled home happy! Staff were super attentive and friendly, we’ll be back. A food experience to remember.

A cosy little place by the canal, offering a thoughtful and well-executed (though not extensive – not necessarily a bad thing!) menu.

Food was only ok and the service was poor. Perhaps this was due to the pre Christmas busy period and set menu but unfortunately it was not a good dining experience. Overpriced also.
