What an absolute amazing watering and food establishment. I honestly have never experienced such a warm, friendly welcome topped with a unique VR experience, and then, the food came out. All I can say is that we were presented with this symphony of fantastic seafood. Do think, just go to, The Glyde Inn.
Best beer i had in Ireland Irish Pale Ale Linn Duachaill in
annagassan a viking settlement. Excellent Crab also while listening to music. Does not get any better.
Great views of the mountains across the bay. Good quality food, the chips are super crispy. Perfect for an early Sunday dinner, caters for groups and has love music
Love coming here, food beautiful, staff friendly and our dog gets water to drink when we sit outside for an afternoon pint. Busy place. You need to book restaurant or just wait for a table to become free in the bar.
09/08/2024: First the plusses...great location, good menu, friendly staff, lovely olde world pub. Negatives..slow service, portions could be bigger, should be something like mushy peas included with fish and chips. My biggest problem however was when I went to pay for a round of drinks from the bar and it was only later I noticed there was a charge of 23% vat added to the bill !!! This meant a glass of wine which was €9 now came to €11.07 and the pints that were approx €6 50 were now costing €7.99 ! Do they really want their restaurant customers queueing at the bar for their drinks ?? This would definitely put me off returning to the Glyde Inn. Get it sorted !!
