Mala Xiang Guo is okay, but the dumplings are average. Black beef and Mapo tofu are also okay. Payment system after ordering.

One of my favourite spots for a lovely hot plate of food. Start with the dumplings but explore the rest of the menu too. The staff are truly wonderful. The last time I was there we unfortunately saw them encounter an absurdly unreasonable, borderline racist customer being abusive towards them over alleged (and definitely wildly untrue) claims about their food. It was completely unwarranted but the staff handled things with poise and more grace than the customer deserved. Also, definitely have the mapo tofu! 👏🤌🙌✌️

I got the All-In dumpling plate with one of each dumpling and it was fabulous! Service was great as well. I highly recommend trying this place.

Did not expect much when we entered the restaurant. The foods were very good on the other hand. I did not expect such a strong mala seasoning with Sichuan pepper in Dublin, which was pleasant surprises. A couple of staffs had their meal near us while we stayed, but no hassle. Considering it was Friday evening, noises and crowdness was bearable. Will we visit this restaurant in our next visit to Dublin? Yes, one of the top candidates if we had enough Irish cuisines.

The All-in-one has a sample of all 11 dumplings. It was heaven the whole time. A new experience with each bite making me wish I lived next door.

16/02/2025: Dopo una prima esperienza alcuni anni fa sono tornato in questo ristorante. Ottimo il vino a disposizione (nonostante i prezzi mi sono sembrati parecchio levitati). L'attesa per il cibo è stata un po' lunga e non sono rimasto impressionato dalla bistecca. Speravo meglio.
08/01/2025: Probablemente le daría 4. 5 . Tenía la casa salmón ahumado como entrada, era fantástico. No demasiado fuerte, pero también un sabor muy agradable, excelentes trozos de salmón y el ratón de salmón que lo acompaña también era excelente. Seguido con la pechuga de pato, también hecho muy bien, porción de buen tamaño. El lado de los greens mixtos también era agradable, me gustó el aderezo. Mi único inconveniente fue que originalmente era el único comensal (alrededor de las 12 : 30 para el almuerzo) , que fue un poco fuera de lugar, probablemente debido a la naturaleza bastante formal del restaurante.

10/08/2025: A slightly secluded pub just steps from O'Connell Street. Excellent beef stew and burgers. Fairly priced. Highly recommended.
10/08/2025: Good pub food with not a long wait nice drinks which are not overpriced like nearby pubs. They also play football.
