I'm from Southern California, and I'm used to getting my Mexican food from restaurants run by Mexican families so I admit, I walked in thinking, "OK, Irish burrito place, show me what you got."
I'm happy to say they got it right. Easily the best Mexican food I've had in Ireland.
I tried a three pack of soft tacos - one with each of their meats (chicken, pork and beef), with the sweet corn salsa and cheese. The chicken and pork were both very good. Nice and tender and tasty. The beef was excellent! The salsa had a nice blend of sweet from the corn with some spicy from the onions and some savory from the corriander. The tortillas were nice and fluffy, the monterey jack cheese added a nice creamy to round out the taste experience.
Had a nice conversation with the owners and employee on duty, and they were all lovely, friendly people.
At the time of this review they've only been open for a week, so they're still finishing up decoration and ambience work, but they should have music running soon enough, and a few more changes.
So, in short, I really enjoyed my lunch, and will definitely go back and try their other items.
