Lobstar in Dublin

An absolute must!! Everything for the cocktails to the desert was fabulous!!

One of our favourite restaurants. We've been here for date nights and with friends and it has never disappointed anyone. All aspects of Lobstar are very enjoyable.

As regulars we love coming to Lobstar! As we are moving abroad soon we spent our last dinner out at Lobstar last night and everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s one of those places with the warmest service and delightful dishes from the menu. You can order anything from the menu knowing it’ll be a pure pleasure. Personal favourites are the Tuna Poke, Curry and Lobster Roll with Parmesan Truffle Fries. We will sure miss this place. Thank you team Lobstar!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here last night. Great service, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and the food was amazing! We shared the tuna poke to start. The tuna tasted fresh and the flavor was on point! The starter arrived with some bread & homemade butter, which I enjoyed very much. My husband ordered the surf & turf for main. He wanted his steak rare and it was done right. So important! He said the grilled lobster tail was delicious too! I had the lobster roll & truffle chips. It was so good!!! I absolutely loved the perfectly toasted brioche roll. It complimented the lobster salad (generous lobster meat!) so well. The chips were golden & crispy…the way it should be! There was only one small thing that could use a change. The washroom light I thought was too bright. The moment you opened the door into the toilet is so harsh with the florescent white light. A strong contrast with the ambience of the restaurant. Perhaps something warmer / yellow tone light would be better suited for the overall vibe.

Not often go do I give 5 stars but The Lobstar in Monkstown is an absolute delight! The seafood is incredibly fresh, and the flavors are outstanding. The charming ambiance and attentive staff create a memorable dining experience. It's a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts!
