I was in the lobster pot in September, I was so happy with it I came from Kildare to visit it again it's so good, it's beyond good it's super excellent if that's a word, my wife was really impressed with it, it's very good quality food and service, I think some restaurants probably have more staff and can't serve the quality of food we received, it's really great and is well worth a visit,
One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Ireland! The crab claws were fantastic, and the seafood chowder was one of the best I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot)! Plus, it has a cozy pub atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.
Un restaurant accueillant où manger des fruits de mer, malheureusement servis en starters et non en plat principal. Atmosphère familiale et agréable avec un service très attentif. Une halte de choix.
Incredible food and service ( and care too!). Stayed local to the Lobster pot this past few days, fishing with a local Skipper.
As a complete aside, I injured my back prior to arrival and the Landlady and front of house team could not have been more accommodating in looking after me. Thank you again. Really kind.
Over the next couple of days, we ate two dinners and lunch, so good was the food and service. The daily special are as the title suggests, ‘special’ The menu local, but varied to cater for all tastes. Really good feel to it. Thank you again. We’ll see you again next year.
