I have stayed here many times over the last 3 years. Always had a good time and no fuss. All the staff were very courteous.

There was loads of parking at the side of loch Gorman arms because of the time 5.30 and day Monday. The service was very good and the dinner itself was lovely, the cheesecake wasn't that nice and the cappuccino was nice the first few sips but got cold quick and wasn't drinkable. The value was good. To sum up the day the service and dinner were worth going there for the desserts and coffee I should of just left.

A lovely place for coffee or food break, with good quick and kind service :-) didn't use the hotel services, but I bet it's good :-) and now.... you can spend great festive time with friends and family, at this lovely place :-) have I mentioned nice staff? :-) very nice helpful smiling staff... a smile can do magic ;-) the espresso tastes better then my last visit :-) and new nice glass espresso cups :-) and the xMas decorations is lovely :-)

Afternoon Tea At the Ashdown Park Hotel

10/05/2025: We had lunch in the Ashdown Bar and Restaurant we both had haddock ...the fish itself was lovely but both the cauliflower and dressing it was served with was very disappointing barely cooked almost raw and impossible to eat ...it came with boiled potatoes which were not editable green inside we did get some chips as a replacement but equally poor...we had two coffees my coffee was cold and really just tasted like milk I did ask for it to be reheated bit it came back the same and I did not drink it...the Hotel is beautifully kept and the grounds are amazing...we have eaten in the bar on a few occasions and it was lovely but unfortunately not so on this visit...perhaps if we return it will be back to its usual high standard ...

04/01/2025: What a treasure trove of varied items from home pantry staples to diy, garden furniture, decor and more, Spice is always a spot to try for that item you can't seem to find anywhere else. Their hardware electrical section is very well stocked and reasonably priced compared to other local hardware shops sometimes. Great cleaning supply aisle. Garden section also good too. Seasonal products stocked here so aways worth a look to see whats new.
03/12/2024: What can I say only, you have the most professional, kind and caring staff! I really wanted the blowup Christmas Santa sleigh and reindeer but there were none left, the lovely girls on the till promised me they’d contact me if the lady who had put the last one by, didn’t show up. I got a phone call that evening to say they had searched high and low in the warehouse and found the very last one. To say I was ecstatic! Those girls need a pay rise! Staff like that are hard to find πŸ’žπŸ™ŒπŸ‘ thank you so very very much
