Loose Canon was recommended by a local on a weekend. No reservations so it’s easy to grab a quick bite and wine. Toastie tasted great until I saw the employee who made it at the slicer popping pieces of meat straight into their mouth and go back to slicing without washing their hands.

Nice little place in a lively Covent Garden (London) type area. Food ok (cheese platter) but wine very disappointing. Good vibe though.

Wasn’t really welcomed when I came in. Staff seemed preoccupied even though it wasn’t busy. Wasn’t really sure what food was served etc. No food boards on display. And no real assistance. I ordered a cheese toaster and red wine. The food was nice and the wine was ok. But was expensive for what it was.

16/10/2025: Had Chicken Wings and Chips. Great portion, very tasty. Service was friendly and quick. The only thing that could be improved is the interior design. Went back to this restaurant a few times and have to say, the quality is consistently good.

17/11/2025: They say go where you see long queue and it should be good - not always the case, but for this one it def is! Worth the wait and must try if you’re around the area. We had pistachio cannoli, pistachio tiramisu, americano and italian hot chocolate. It is on the expensive side, almost 30eur. For Dublin it’s OK, I found the desserts average but oh! - the italian hot chocolate made me want to go back as soon as I can. First time trying all them so maybe not the best judge. Oh well I enjoyed it. It was so packed yesterday so will head there again today hopefully not as busy.
