The cheese toast was okay. I love the design of wine glasses it’s worth taking a picture with it. But the service wasn’t good enough. When we entered the store there were 2 staff doing nothing and they completely ignored us even not saying hello or hi. I’ve been to this store 2 times and it happened every single time. I love the atmosphere of this store but I’m not gonna visit again.

It was THE BEST CHEESE I had ever eaten! We ordered a small sliver of some kind of goat cheese and it was beyond delicious. The next time we're there, we will be pairing it with wine.

Could be better and some improvement needed. Glasses are not good value: 9-13 for a very small glass of red wine . The cheese board was decent though . The staff need to be more attentive and proactive with helping paying customers get seats . We ended up eating standing at the window sill inside while some random girl took up a table outside “waiting for a friend” not buying anything . Staff should be moving her on to vacate the tables for paying customers.

A really fun concept that is executed well. Great food and nice wine! The place is very small, so not good for groups of 4 or more. There is outside seating though. Toasties are great, the one with chorizo is spicy so be careful!

We really liked the concept so gave it a go but unfortunately left a little disappointed. The toasties were very nice and fairly reasonably priced. I asked to add something to mine and unfortunately was told that they are pre-made so cannot be amended. The staff weren’t overly friendly. Those that had wine really didn’t enjoy it.

Original, toast was great for a small lunch. Ingredients are very fresh and tasted delightful. One thing id change, is there aren't any other options for non pork eaters as the toasts are pre-made so (can't remove or modify) the pork. Adding one more item to accommodate this would be fantastic

Hmm 10 euros for a fancy cheese toastie aka grilled cheese. It was okay. Nothing mind blowing. Quick order and small shop. not sure it was good enough to come back or recommend to visitors for a bite. Maybe better for wine and cheese board type of affair with friends

Cannot vouch for the wine as I always visit during work hours but the toasted sandwiches are just to die for and are consistently gorgeous! A must do....

24/11/2024: We’ve been coming to Brother Hubbard on and off for the past 10 years. It absolutely never disappoints! Service is always friendly and quick. You will probably have to wait for a table at weekends if you haven’t booked, but usually no longer than 20 minutes and it is worth the queue! Food is delicious and different to other breakfast and brunch places. So pleased the Turkish Eggs is back on the menu, as these are fantastic! Never had a bad experience here and always return when I’m in Dublin.
