We were looking for a good place to eat near Teeling Distillery before our tour started.
Tenters Gastropub was found by chance through Google Maps suggestions. And we must admit that we did not regret taking the suggestion.
From the outside, the place looks like a small and pretty corner pub, but inside you will find renovated and comfortable restaurant spaces.
The service was friendly and fast. The meals were the tastiest.
A very good find. We recommend it.

5/5 Stars | A Standout Dublin Experience!
My son and I visited The Tenters Gastropub during our first trip to Dublin, and it was an absolute highlight.
The atmosphere here is fantastic. It strikes a perfect balance, giving you that classic, welcoming Irish pub warmth but with a sleek, slightly upscale modern finish that sets it apart from other traditional spots in the area. It feels premium but completely comfortable and unpretentious.
The food was top-tier. We ordered the fish and chips, and they were outstanding: perfectly crispy batter, fresh fish, and excellent chips.
Whether you are a local or a tourist exploring Dublin for the first time like us, this place is a must-visit. Great vibes, brilliant food, and stellar service. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

I really liked the pub. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, without unnecessary noise or pretentiousness. There's a good selection of beer and snacks, and everything was served quickly. The staff is friendly, and communication is easy and respectful. A great place for a quiet evening with friends or just to unwind after work.

Did take a while to be seated - guess only one person on duty - until Roderick came on and he seated us right away. His recommendations were spot on, whether the Burrata Salad or the Seafood Chowder; both of which hit the spot. Whether Guinness or Guinness 0.0, both of tap and ideal to commence or conclude one’s meal.
Recommend a visit especially if staying at the Marriott Aloft.

Went to Tenters for a quiet dinner by myself while visiting Dublin for work. And it didn't disappoint. The servers were helpful and courteous, the lighting ambient and mellow, the noise level just right, and the food- delicious. And the Guinness! A perfect pour (I HAD to take a large sip before snapping a photo). The Guinness in Ireland always tastes so much different than anywhere else in the world.

I had Irish Seafood Chowder while I was in Belfast. Right when I got to the Dublin, I had an intense craving for it! I think I like this version of chowder better than the good ole USA New England chowder. I was staying in the hotel this restaurant is located in. Great and convenient choice for me. The vibe/ambiance is quite swanky, while the dishes were reasonably priced. To end my night, I ordered a few light apps instead of a full entree - seafood chowder and burrata salad. Unfortunately, the food took quite a while to come out. My two dishes are considered "starters", so that made the wait even more antagonizing. Sadly, the chowder was not as good as the one I had in Belfast, but it was still tasty. Definitely not very thick, especially for a chowder. The burrata salad was yummy, especially the sun dried tomatoes. Nice light meal.
