Tenters Gastropub in Dublin

Wonderful gastropub in the liberties. I love their style, the design was very curated and comfortable, even the bathroom. The food was delicious. They made an exception as I asked for a pie, that is generally served only for dinner and I remain surprised both for kindness and tasty chicken curry pie. The service so good too! Really recommended!

Really nice food. I had the chicken supreme and tropical Eaton mess. Flavours were great. It’s attached to aloft hotel so enter there. Would go again.

We are a family of 9 and so needed a restaurant with a varied food selection (including seafood) that would not break the bank. After many typical pub meals (burgers, fish and chips), we were so happy when Tenters took our reservation. They do offer the classic pub fare plus many elevated dishes including steak, chicken, salmon, pasta, veggie options, etc. From teenagers to seniors, we ordered a total of 7 different menu items and every person in our party thoroughly enjoyed their amply portioned, expertly seasoned and beautifully prepared meal. Not to mentioned the great visual ambience and quiet setting suitable for dinner conversation (we love Irish music but not at every meal). Well done Tenters - a local gem of a restaurant. Wish we were staying longer in Dublin so we could eat here again.

We received excellent service and the food was good.

I booked Tenters for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. It was a new venue to us and looked appealing, especially as it has gluten free options, which I require as a coeliac. The food was good and the service very attentive. We each had the fish and chips, then I had the Eton mess and my boyfriend had the brownie. The fish and chips were tasty, but no peas? And I backed the wrong horse picking the Eton mess, which was nice but didn't hold a candle to the brownie. Overall, an enjoyable dinner and I'd recommend it, if a bit overpriced (especially desserts).

Very delicious food and very friendly service. Also the interior is very nice and quite cozy :-)

Exactly what we needed! Quiet (at least while we were here) and the bartender was very attentive. My husband had the Reuben Sandwich while I had the fish chowder. The best fish chowder I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend it here 😉.

Gastropub located inside the Aloft by Marriott Dublin City hotel. Pleasant atmosphere. Dishes range from traditional Irish fare to Italian and Asian-influenced reinterpretations; reasonable portions. Service is prompt but a bit distracted.
