The place is amazing, cheese has a great selection, and great wine! However, they have a corkage fee of 15 euro on top of any bottle bought in the bar (not one you bring yourself) which I've never heard of before and definitely put us off a bit! Great cheese but slightly disappointed. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a decent bit of wine with your cheese:((

Wasn’t really welcomed when I came in. Staff seemed preoccupied even though it wasn’t busy. Wasn’t really sure what food was served etc. No food boards on display. And no real assistance. I ordered a cheese toastie and red wine. The food was nice and the wine was ok. But it was expensive for what it was.

The place is lovely. The staff are kind. And the cheese platter is tasty! However they have a corkage fee of 15 euro per bottle bought IN the bar. (Not even your own bottle) Which was very surprising and disappointing. Doesn't seem to make sense to have such a high corkage fee for bottles bought on the premise itself.

Want to discover Irish cheeses? This little market hall is the perfect place! The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service friendly, and we had a very good meal. Be warned, though: it's not necessarily the place to go if you're very hungry. People come here mainly to awaken their taste buds and discover the excellent flavors of local cheeses. And for the French, no worries: you can have your cheese with bread. Anyway, I digress; it's a perfect spot for a tasting experience, but not necessarily for a very heavy meal. We ordered two platters: a mixed platter for €25 and one entirely composed of cheeses for €21.

Tiny place. The cheese plate took a minute to arrive but worth the wait. The wine we ordered was just ok.

Intimate little wine bar with a great selection of natural wines by the glass or bottle, cheese plates, and toasties! Lovely orange wine and adore that they do half plates of cheese! All were high quality, procured directly from the source and a house made jam.

I came here alone whilst travelling, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It was super busy initially, so I went away and returned a little later on. They had remembered me from earlier and immediately cleaned a new table for me and served me. The white wine was great, and I also tried a chilled red and a cheese board. Luckily for me, I met two American girls who were also travelling, so had some company. The outdoor seating on the street is very nice atmosphere and the wine bar has a lovely vibe. I'll be recommending this to friends <3

Daniel was absolutely brilliant in explaining the different kinds of wine. Very knowledgeable. Also this is a great little place for a tipple or two accompanied with some cheese/meats. Thanks Team! Fab time had!

Wishing Well

18/02/2026: Good food and very friendly staff. Kathy
24/01/2026: Nice food, little veg (even though explicitly stated on the menu). The chips could have been fried slightly longer. Portion size is decent, but men will probably need to order a side with it. Atmosphere is good, sports were visible from all booths. Service was friendly. Good traditional pub.

Tenters Gastropub

10/04/2026: Relaxing atmosphere with great menu selections and unique cocktails. Ate here after a long trip in to Dublin. This was a great place to unwind. The services was fantastic, friendly and nicely paced. The food was great.
20/03/2026: I had Irish Seafood Chowder while I was in Belfast. Right when I got to the Dublin, I had an intense craving for it! I think I like this version of chowder better than the good ole USA New England chowder. I was staying in the hotel this restaurant is located in. Great and convenient choice for me. The vibe/ambiance is quite swanky, while the dishes were reasonably priced. To end my night, I ordered a few light apps instead of a full entree - seafood chowder and burrata salad. Unfortunately, the food took quite a while to come out. My two dishes are considered "starters", so that made the wait even more antagonizing. Sadly, the chowder was not as good as the one I had in Belfast, but it was still tasty. Definitely not very thick, especially for a chowder. The burrata salad was yummy, especially the sun dried tomatoes. Nice light meal.
