What a cool find! A unique place to stop to grab a glass of wine! Staff were tremendously helpful and fun. I didn’t have food but it looked great as well! You can sit outside or inside and very small but super fun! Definately recommend a stop in here if you’re in Dublin!

Amazing spot, we have been twice now and will definitely be back. A great selection of cheeses and wines, 100g minimum but they are quite affordable. I don’t eat cheese, but my mate said it was amazing. The meat and cheese plates are lovely too. The wine is brilliant, we had a nice complex orange wine and a gorgeous italian red. I think it was the best red I have ever had. The price by the glass is very good for the quality of wines, and I love that you can try a bunch. I have to give 4 stars tho because of the service. I’ve never had an issue previously, but one of the guys behind the counter was very short with us because we took some time to decide what to get. He also gave my friend the wrong cheese. I also think 15 quid for corkage is wild. Apart from this, its amazing and we will definitely be back soon.

Loose Cannon is a cute little wine bar with a great atmosphere and a fantastic spot for people-watching. We grabbed seats in the window, enjoyed a delicious toastie, and had some excellent wine. The food and drinks were exactly what we were hoping for. The only downside was the service. This was quite literally the only place we’ve visited in Dublin where we felt unwelcome. There were no smiles, no warm interactions, and the overall vibe felt surprisingly negative. It was hard to tell whether the staff were having an off day or just weren’t particularly interested in engaging with visitors. That said, it’s still a cool spot with good food, good wine, and a charming setting.

From the moment we arrived, Pedro made us feel welcome and well looked after. We were dining with a child and a baby, and he was incredibly attentive, making sure everyone at the table was comfortable and had everything they needed. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care stood out throughout the entire visit. What impressed us most was his attention to detail. We casually suggested having toothpicks available, and in less than five minutes Pedro had already brought them to our table. This level of responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction is rare and truly deserves recognition. The food was excellent, with authentic Brazilian flavors and traditional Festa Junina dishes that brought a little piece of Brazil to Dublin. The drinks were also fantastic, and everything we tried was delicious. However, it was Pedro’s exceptional service that made the experience truly memorable. Pedro went above and beyond to ensure that every guest at our table—including the baby—was comfortable and cared for. His dedication, warmth, and attention made us feel valued as customers. Tenters Gastropub

19/06/2026: We were looking for a good place to eat near Teeling Distillery before our tour started. Tenters Gastropub was found by chance through Google Maps suggestions. And we must admit that we did not regret taking the suggestion. From the outside, the place looks like a small and pretty corner pub, but inside you will find renovated and comfortable restaurant spaces. The service was friendly and fast. The meals were the tastiest. A very good find. We recommend it.

It feels premium but completely comfortable and unpretentious. The food was top-tier. We ordered the fish and chips, and they were outstanding: perfectly crispy batter, fresh fish, and excellent chips. Whether you are a local or a tourist exploring Dublin for the first time like us, this place is a must-visit. Great vibes, brilliant food, and stellar service.
