Taste Buds in Dublin

Nice food breakfast for 2 was just 40 including a tea and coffee. We go here occasionally and it has never disappointed.

Busy so service was slow which makes one wonder why the breakfast then comes out cold. EGGS on Avocado mash with cubed potatoes, potatoes cold White of eggs was raw which is a turnoff. When u add the tea it came to €17.95, bring back tea as standard with brekkies please. Will try again as the staff are very nice.

I went in here Saturday morning just gone with my partner and our two boys. Honestly we came in initially because the River Cafe was busy and we were waiting over 10 minutes and gave up on getting seated. We came here with no expectations. From the moment we walked in the staff were warm and welcoming. We were seated and drink orders were taken straight away. A member of staff chatted with my two kids and she was absolutely so warm and pleasant. One of my sons has ASD and she was so patient and friendly, and it was lovely to see someone interacting with the kids to take their order. Orders were soon taken, we got two full Irish breakfasts and two kids breakfasts. Food was fantastic, particularly the suasuages and bread. The big standout for me and my family were the staff. The three members of staff I met, including the two women at the front and the young man looking after customers on the floor, were all lovely and patient. At no point were we rushed, orders came out soon after making them and staff were more then happy to assist when needed, and when my boy dropped his sausage on the ground, this was replaced free of charge. I will definitely be favouring this place over the River Cafe and welldone to the amazing staff there. You made us feel very welcome!

I had the most incredible experience at The Hudson Rooms Lucan and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and just had that perfect buzz. I ordered the bacon hash and my boyfriend had the breakfast sandwich, and both were absolutely lovely fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell there’s care put into the food. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was the staff. Hayley and Lynsey were beyond amazing so friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely people. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and their energy just elevated the whole experience. It’s rare to come across service that feels so natural and heartfelt. We left feeling genuinely looked after, and that kind of experience sticks with you. Can’t wait to come back huge thanks to Hayley and Lynsey for making it so special, they’re amazing💖💖

This was easily the best hot chocolate I've ever had, and the food was incredible as well. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere was fab, cosy and calm even with a full restaurant. Staff were lovely, particularly the host. Food 10/10. Not greasy at all and great value. Huge pot of tea also which is rare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time in here and I’d say it won’t be the last. Popped in for a late breakfast and the place was buzzing without being mad loud. Staff were sound and gave me time to have a proper look at the menu, no rushing. I went for a cooked breakfast and it was decent quality, good portions, filled the hole nicely. Prices are a bit on the higher side but you can see where it’s going. Atmosphere was warm and relaxed, nice spot to sit and chat. Solid place if you’re in the area.

Lovely cafe, delicious food. We went for breakfast, highly recommend the breakfast. We had 1 full brekkie, 1 mini brekkie and 1 pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. All delicious 😋
