Lough Rea Hotel & Spa in Loughrea legal town

Spa, food, staff, decor and cleanliness are amazing but the rooms let it all down. Lighting is very very poor beds are way to soft and pillows have to be the worst iv ever slept on. Overall our experience here was very good. If the rooms got a little tlc this place would get a continuous 5* rating.

Unfortunately, my experience with the support and service provided by NICOLE, the person responsible for overseeing my wedding, was very disappointing. What should have been a special day was compromised by serious failures in service and organization. From the beginning, she showed a lack of attention to the previously agreed-upon details. I expected more professionalism and care, especially for such an important event. I would not recommend booking your wedding if she is in charge of coordinating the event, as the level of service fell well below expectations in regard to her. On the other hand, the waitstaff and the chef did a great job.

Excellent hospitality, clean rooms

Had a one night stay here. Modern, rooms good, service good, food good. One criticism, please train barstaff to pull proper pint of guinness. Filling it to top, handing it out still settling ending up with 2 inch head not way to do it. In it's favour it tasted reasonably ok.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Loughrea Hotel & Spa, and it was nothing short of perfect. Nicole & Damien, along with all the supervisors and managers, were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our day special. The wedding decor and attention to detail in the function room were stunning. Every single member of the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, a number of our guests commented on how lovely they all were. The food on both days was delicious, arriving hot and fresh, and received rave reviews from our friends and family. Our Day 2 on the rooftop bar was equally fantastic and it also has stunning views. We cannot fault the hotel or the staff in any way, we literally do not have one thing to complain about. We highly recommend having your wedding here – it was the best decision we made and it made our weekend everything we wanted and more!

Had our wedding here in July, and our guests had only good things to say about the food and service. Both Nicole and Damien went above and beyond to ensure that everyone enjoyed the day. Highly recommended as a wedding venue due to central location and wedding packages available.

The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa’s Bottomless Prosecco event with entertainment by Dolly Parton tribute act Kirsty Coard was a fabulous way to spend the afternoon! Superb entertainment from start to finish. With choices of prosecco and nosecco along with a wide array of finger foods catering for all palates, this afternoon did not disappoint! Management and staff are to be applauded for their attention to detail at these events!

We stayed here for a family wedding last week and I have to say everything from the rooms to the food to the friendly staff was second to none. I have been to many concerts here also and have never been dissatisfied I would highly recommend this hotel for a function or just a relaxing getaway break.
