Lough Rea Hotel & Spa in Loughrea legal town

We went to visit for the thermal suite, about an hour's drive from where we live and honestly if the rest of the hotel is anything like this, id stay there in an instant. Quiet, tranquil, big sauna, big steam room, big jacuzzi, large airy light therapy room, dark comfortable therapy room, ice grotto and pressure shower, for the price it's the perfect recovery spot. Bring your partner and just unwind for the afternoon, grab a bite to eat in the restaurant/bar afterwards and enjoy your day. Will be back many times again, this place is wonderful.

Stayed here for a work trip and had a great experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. The bar and restaurant served nice food, and the breakfast in the morning was lovely with excellent service. Would definitely recommend for work stays.

Unfortunately, the food was poorly organized. Little selection at breakfast and poorly organized. Noisy and like a McDonald's. Too bad. Aldi is nearby.

Lovely hotel with amazing conference rooms

Regular visitors to the Lough Rea Hotel. Staff are always very friendly and helpful towards my parents and myself in the bar, no matter what they ask for they go above and beyond to help out. Very easy to get to off the motorway also.

Very nice hotel and the staff were very pleasant . Had a few dietary requirements and the catering team were more than helpful and obliging

The staff on our check-in could not have been more helpful, I booked for the 4th-6th and turned up on the 7th !! But it was sorted without any fuss. The hotel is clean and ideally situated for exploring Galway and the surrounding countryside. It is in need of some TLC in places but overall a lovely helpful staff that more than make up for a shortcomings in the decor.

Nice good sized room. Very decent restaurant on site. On the other hand, the laundry given to be washed at 6 p.m. was not ready the next evening at 6 p.m. as agreed; I left with my dirty laundry. Party organized in the large room but no noise on the 3rd floor.

A beautiful, fairly quiet location and my room had a view of the Lough. Complimentary water for each room. The rooms are stylish with smart TVs. Close to a few stores so you can get a snack, too. Great food for breakfast.
