Fantastic, very friendly campsite. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful, set in a beautiful, restored cottage area. The kitchen is spacious and can accommodate several families at once. The sanitary facilities are spotless. The site is just a few minutes' walk from the Loughcrew cairns. The sunsets there are breathtaking.

Sarah and Niall were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the yurts for a relaxing break - complete with nature, history, campfires and good coffee

Stayed here one night. Lovely area with clean toilets and showers. Didn't use the coffee shop but it looked lovely. Definitely worth the visit to Loughcrew only a short walk up the hill.

I've been renting Benny's Workshop on a weekly basis from Sarah and Niall for 2 years. My Yoga students love the space and of course the calm, magic location. Loads of parking, super clean toilets and all staff are so lovely to deal with. The beautiful wooden floors and the sash windows make the room extra special. I couldn't picture a better spot to teach from!

Fabulous small campsite. Friendly relaxed owners who are so accomadating allowing us to have day visitors without any issue even though we were quite a crowd! The toilets and showers were spotless and we never once had to queue or wait. Showers were free with plenty of hot water. A lovely little courtyard with flowers and picnic tables to enjoy coffee and cake from the on-site coffee shop or your own. A nice clean playground for the kids. We could choose our own pitch on arrival and there was no problem arriving late on the first night. I would highly recommend this campsite. Probably the nicest I've stayed in in terms of atmosphere in Ireland .Thanks for a great stay.

26/06/2026: What an excellent stay we had at the Ardagh Hotel. The rooms were excellent, the food and service was fantastic. We had some complexity getting taxis home from Clifton and their receptionist came in without asking and picked us up. Really well run Hotel. Highly recommended!
06/06/2026: Loved our stay here so much we extended it. So relaxing from the moment we arrived. Staff are all excellent warm, attentive but always understated. You feel very well looked after but you are always given space. Everything is spotless, decor is beautiful...a lot of thought and care has gone into it. A relaxing inviting lounge area, a big turf fire, eclectic mix of artwork, and interesting ornaments. A beautiful dining area with views over the sea, and a delicious dinner menu made for the most romantic memorable meal. Our dog was welcomed and we were never made to feel it was an inconvenience. Similarly the place is not overrun by pets and wouldn't disturb others. Can't wait to to go back ...thank you to you all
