Lovely campsite with playground and coffee shop, beautiful location and clean facilities. There is a large kitchen, but they do not provide a fridge for campers.

This will be out second night staying here! And we've added another to our stay ! As this place is just beautiful ๐. It's so family orientated and the quiet time at night is awesome for the younger kiddos! I'm this heat I'm not sure if we will be journeying to get to the site itself . But we will be heading to Lough Lene for a swim ! 100% would recommend to any person and family. The carrot cake is to die for .

Sarah and Niall have an amazing space on offer here. At the foothills of the Loughcrew Cairns it is one 'ell of a special spot. The energy from the stones spills down into the site and the owners friendliness and warm welcome make it altogether a gorgeous magical place. Even when busy it never seems crowded and there is ample space for camping and parking up camper vans without feeling intrusive. HIGHLY recommend ๐๐๐

In the middle of nowhere, pure nature, everything perfect except for the pitches, which are exceptionally uneven; sanitary facilities are okay, but nothing more.

Camped here in early May with my dog. Had a fantastic weekend. Sarah was very helpful and checked in with us the first morning.
The tent area was quiet, given it was early May. Shower and toilet block just at the edge of the field. Campers kitchen has hobs, sinks, kettle, toaster, freezer and plenty sockets to charge devices. There's also a playground and games room for kids.
Short but steep walk up to the cairn but was well worth it for the view!
The cafe is super handy for hot and iced coffees, delicious cakes and premade sandwiches. Plenty space to sit in the courtyard.
Short drive into Oldcastle where I recommend Ciara's Candy & Cafe for a dog friendly lunch.

Beautiful and amazing place to visit. Big big climb so beware, but so worth it. Highest view in Meath, able to see 18 Counties, and ancient history. Astonishing history of Cairn T.
