Nice coffee shop and brand. The team are very welcoming and it’s a nice place. Coffee is good and worth going for. Constructive critique is on the sandwiches. €10 for sandwiches with very little meat in them reminds me of airport style sandwiches where you pay a lot for very little.

Nice place and great tasting coffee but the extra 50 cent to toast the sandwich is a bit cheeky. Had some stomach issues with the pesto chicken as did the person I shared it with so maybe stick to the pastries with this one.

Really liked my experience at Luna. Staff were friendly and helpful, atmosphere was inviting, good craic between baristas and customers. Went in for a sandwich and walked out with their Chicken Pesto flavour, really tasty and good value for the quality. 100% recommend.

I went there for coffee and a pastry and it's worth trying the maple pecan bun. Also had an oat flat white, which was a really good coffee... in addition, I had a butter croissant that was not the flakiest one, but the taste was nice.

The Ardlea Inn

06/10/2026: Highly recommend for family events! We had our son’s Christening party here and had a brilliant day. The pub has been recently refurbished and it looks incredible— many of our guests commented on how nice the 1st floor area was. They have great venue options too, including a smaller function room upstairs if you have a more intimate group. A massive thank you to Mark the manager, who was lovely to deal with during the booking process, and to the staff on the day who were very attentive.

05/10/2026: More of a college bar, but friendly staff & great food!
05/10/2026: Had a lovely lunch at Doyle’s. Large ham and cheese toasty for me, while hubs enjoyed the seafood chowder. Recovering from jet lag, so we had coffee and our server brought us a welcome pitcher of ice water! Plan to stop back for a Guinness later.
