A lovely welcoming bar, has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, has a fireplace inside. Rob in particular is a brilliant barman but all staff are friendly and helpful. Thursdays and Fridays tend to have a guitar singer. It’s a great pub for evening drinks to be able to catch up with people. There is no television.

We stopped in on the warmest day of the year to grab a pint and cool off for a bit while checking out Limerick. Rob our bartender greeted us warmly and took great care of us while we enjoyed our drinks. Rob chatted with us while we drank and we enjoyed the conversation. He shared some history of the bar and provided us some wonderful recommendations for local shops and dining. Do yourself a favor if you’re in Limerick and visit Ma Hogans to grab a pint and a chat. Say hello to Rob for us!

This was fun, and the barman couldn't have been more adorable (and he helped me fix my Gaelge!) We sat out front and people-watched, and there was certainly plenty to watch! The Guinness was great, too!

Lovely old style pub with a great pint of Guinness. Rob is a brilliant barman who engages all customers in chat and banter. Well worth a visit.

We jumped in here after a wander around Limerick, and what an amazing place. Lots of history, great host (Rob) and the ales and ciders are amazing. Felt like a real home from home place. Lots of nostalgia in there too with lots of of the ciggie and beer adverts. Fab place

Have been coming here a while and everytime iv had an amazing time. The staff are brilliant and so friendly. Iv had so many chats with them while at the bar and it really adds to the friendly vibe. Highly recommend everyone come here. Nice vibe, nice staff everything you could want!

14/06/2026: Enjoyed a really flavoursome and clean meal here (3 courses). We were greeted with a warm welcome and I have to commend all of the staff we encountered, they were all so pleasant, accommodating, friendly and helpful. I was really impressed with them, and of course the place itself too, great layout, music was perfect for dining and later dancing! Wonderful ambiance and place to visit.
07/06/2026: We visited for the bottomless Prosecco experience with friends and had a fantastic time. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The Prosecco was truly bottomless, keeping the celebrations going, while the great atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. We shared plenty of laughs, created wonderful memories, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Overall, it was a fun and memorable outing, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great time with friends. 🥂🍾✨

Clayton Hotel Limerick

15/05/2026: A wonderful place to stay. Very clean and the staff was amazing! The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast had a great variety of foods to choose from. I love that they served breakfast until 10 for those of us that sleep in :-). The views were beautiful despite overlooking the scrape metal yard. The restaurant food was ok. Nothing incredible but was good. You can walk to pretty much anywhere. Will definitely stay there again.
08/05/2026: Exceptional hotel, great location, and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent!
