Macari's in Laytown-bettystown-mornington

Not the freshest I've ever had, good chips but fresh cod wasn't great,and other battered items overcooked

Efficient and friendly staff and lovely fresh cod!

It's the best Macari on the entire east coast. We have a Macari in town, but we will drive 15km to the Bettystown Macari for fish and chips. The batter on their fish is delicious, crunchy, not too thick, or too oily. It's perfect, and the chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The premises are spotlessly clean. If you're in Bettystown, that's the place to go for fish and chips. We always bring our takeaway to the picnic tables on the promenade and eat it there while looking at the beautiful beach and sea.

The lads in there are great lads, always well sorted lovely spot by the beach, I’m an avid customer 🙏🏼
