What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its outstanding team. The welcome was fantastic: we were greeted with exceptional friendliness and courtesy. Every single staff member is passionate about their work and anticipates every guest's needs. Such perfect, attentive, and warm service is truly rare! This exceptional hospitality continued seamlessly in the restaurant – the service there is absolutely unparalleled. The hotel itself and our suite were also superb: spacious, spotlessly clean, and simply perfect for relaxation. Another big plus for us drivers: you can park your car directly and conveniently in front of the hotel. You can feel that the entire staff puts their heart and soul into what they do every single day, going above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need. It is genuinely rare to experience this perfect, attentive, and warm service! This exceptional hospitality carried right through to the restaurant, where the service was simply second to none. The hotel itself and our suite were also outstanding: incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and just perfect for unwinding. Another huge plus for us as drivers was being able to park right outside the accommodation, which was super convenient. The verdict: I can only repeat myself—we are absolutely thrilled. We would rebook here in a heartbeat and highly recommend the hotel (and especially the fantastic team!) to anyone.

05/06/2026: I visited there recently for a christening, a great venue, lovely food, and staff are brilliant, from check in to check out. Rooms are spacious, big windows big bath with a lovely shower. Big comfy bed, spotlessly clean. They have big windows in the function room, leading out to a patio and and garden. Great selection of food for breakfast

17/07/2026: Highly recommend Relish, quaint and cosy, good grub also. May need to reserve table in advance.

10/07/2026: Standards have severely dropped since they updated the menu and painted it orange.. below average food, small portions and expensive for what it is.. back when this was relish or even the original navy restaurant (not docked) this was the place to be! Disappointed

20/02/2026: I came in here just few months ago just for few pints and I found the staff really nice there i have been to loads of pubs but this one was by far the most welcoming I've been to

02/06/2026: I left very disappointed because you don’t get what you pay for. Such low quality chicken and chips. It doesn’t even include a dip, you have to pay extra.

01/03/2026: Food is really bad. chips reheated and they tell you they are fresh to your face. Even the cat left it for the birds. Extremely disappointing.
