Relish in Laytown-bettystown-mornington

Cozy breakfast/brunch spot in bettystown with a view of the ocean! Homey food that could be vegetarian accommodating :) We got the Potato Hash without black pudding and the Relish French Toast with berries and crème fraiche. Would recommend having a reservation as you may have to wait ~15th or so for a walk-in table.

We discovered this café by chance the other day. Although we had planned to stop into a café after our walk on Laytown Beach, we had not expected to find a café that was accessible from the beach. It was a great discovery. It's a cosy little café up a few steps. Its unassuming entrance leads to a very nice interior with an amazing view of the bay, the Irish Sea, and the beach in front of it. We just got hot drinks and a nice dessert, but it is a place I'd like to return to anytime, but especially I'm the summer, when we could sit outside.

Food was wonderful and the service as always was brilliant. Such a lovely welcoming restaurant

Highly recommend Relish, quaint and cosy, good grub also. May need to reserve table in advance.

Food cold not normally like this

Booked out I was left outside but tables inside were empty when I arrived and still when I left. Strange but very nice staff and food just Shame I was cold

The experience has been very good regardless of the time throughout the day and regardless of the day of the week you decide to pop in to have something to eat. I was hungry and a bit in rush and I completely forgot to take a few pics. Today I had a sourdough melt of the day - it was a tuna one, it was crispy and cheesy. The carrot cake was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend it 🍰🥕😋😁
