Maldron Hotel Oranmore Galway in

I stayed here recently with my two kids. The family rooms we're lovely. They were nice and spacious. Although the room was cold and the heating not working in our room we were provided with a plug in heater. I pre ordered treat boxes for the kids to be in the room upon arrival and they were forgotten about but hotel staff did leave them in our room when we arrived back from a swim. The kids had ordered pancakes for breakfast which we're burnt when they got them but was quickly replaced with non burnt pancakes. The swimming pool was lovely and arm bands and floats were provided. Overall, an ok stay.

My husband & I had a tasty carvery lunch served up by the enthusiastic chef Dean my husband had the delicious honey roasted ham hock while I had gnocchi both food and service from Dean & Charlotte was excellent 👌

Absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in when visiting Galway. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and your whole process is streamlined thanks to online check in and check out abilities. Access to the pool is also included in your stay which is great. You also have great connections to the city from rail, bus and car.

Lovely venue ,Friendly and helpful staff . Great amenities available . Quiet area just outside of the city But loads of taxis available if needed . Lovely food from the restaurant wide variety available to suit all palettes vegans catered for as well. My only issue and its not a negative its showers over baths which given this day and age i would rather see hotels over here adopt showers only . Very little room in the bathtub for a shower . As i said its a minor niggle

A wonderful stay in a multi- beds family room that offers a great city view and separate shower and bath tub with a hand held shower unit in the bathroom. The meals in the restaurant were delicious and the staff was super!

Great hotel we have stayed here multiple times, staff very friendly and can't do enough for us.
